My boss's son lives in Barbados and they visit regularly,
If the son come here he brings me a bottle and, if my boss goes there, he brings one back.

Equating Gaza to the Holocaust is pretty textbook for people a bit too interested in the one small Jewish majority country’s war amongst all the others. Hamas’ ideology shares the desire to wipe out Jews but that’s about it. For all the flapping of closet Hamas fans it’s an inversion people have been attempting for decades so, grim an obvious a tactic as it is, something people are used to.
The goal here isn’t to exterminate Palestinians or Gazans for a start, a population that has grown exponentially over the last few decades. It’s a war on multiple fronts with a variety of Iranian proxies and now Iran itself. Maybe you disagree. Maybe you agree but will disagree anyway and come up with some lewd comparisons between the two.

Smotrich represents a generally despised minority of hardliners and is in his role thanks to an electoral system which gives these people a disproportionate voice. Not much different to some of the rhetoric we’d have had here had UKIP been in a coalition. It’s not comparable to being the much publicised goal of the government or a widespread view amongst the population. There’s no countdown clock like Tehran.

Having studied the Palestine subject in my college years,admittedly over 50 years ago,as a result, I hold some strong views.
I have posted before ,but I do want to reiterate my absolute disgust at the treatment, by the Israelis, of civilians in Gaza.
I would draw people's attention to UN Resolution 181,passed in 1947,in which the world approved,by majority,to support the establishment of a Jewish state,in the land known as Palestine,which proposed the creation of two states,in their historic lands,with the holy city of Jerusalem being available to all religions to worship, the whole thing to be administered by The British.
This was rejected by the Palestinians,who,since then,have consistently failed to establish themselves as a properly constituted people with an effective government, and who,since 1979, have allowed themselves to be the pawns in a wider objective being put forward by the Mullahs of Iran,who have been consistently advocating the destruction of Israel,despite their own scriptures openly acknowledging these lands as being inhabited by the descendents of Abraham,thousands of years before the birth of Christ.
I'm not going to rattle on any further.....I understand the feelings people have.....but,I think Mahmood Abbas said about 10 years ago?.... that the Palestinians should move themselves towards a country known as Palestine,to become part of the rest of the world and able to access the benefits available.
Until the Palestinian people can free themselves from being the pawns of the fundamentalist Iranian clutches, nothing will change for the better.
