7 wins from our last 13 in the league. We’d need more than that for any chance of automatics. Tough away games to come, I don’t see it personally.
I was being a bit tongue in cheek marra.....the notion was that if we win all our games we will go up....I was agreeing.
My instinct is that whilst other teams have some tough matches, and, against each other, our schedule is not easy either.

Haven't read all the thread sorry if someones already said. Gut wrenching to lose a point with the last kick , but remember last October we were gifted a point with the last kick.
Thought they were brilliant and they came close to the generally regarded, by us as well, to be the divisions best team. I think it speaks volumes of us that once again we saw a team and fans celebrating like they'd won the world cup. (I'll be watching out of curiosity the end of their next home win) At least Leeds celebrated after being determined to go and get the win, unlike Burnley who celebrated playing the last 20 minutes at home to hang on to a draw.

What impressed me.

i) The skill level of Le Fee. If should have had a few more runs at the Leeds full backs

ii) Defensively you're solid, and probably one of only two sides not to panic when Leeds are getting into striking positions.

iii) I was expecting more from Jobe, Cirkin and Hume. Thought O'Nein and Neil in particular put in shifts.

iv) Turning point around 80 mins. Sunderland ran out of steam on 80 minutes, and you didn't have the subs to make the difference.

All in, a fantastic advert for the Championship.

Agree with most of that, but the Robert’s comment I am not so sure about. Mistake aside for their second goal, he grafted his arse off defending. Not his”thing” but he did. Helped Hume out massively against a very good player. Going forward he did little to nothing so I get that to some extent

I don't think Roberts made one winning tackle in that second half and apart from one brilliant pass to Hume straight after half time he contributed very little threat if any, over the 80 mins or so he was on the pitch. We need better than him wide right imo.

I admit I was pissed off for about 10 minutes last night, but not at the lads, but at the fact that it seems that all season, so called professional pundits and the wider media have championed Leeds,Sheffield United, Burnley and have a weird love affair towards Middlesbrough for some reason all season. Their punditry is unprofessional and at times infuriating. Very little respect shown toward a team of pretty much kids finding their way in the game and a manager with no experience in the English game, never mind one of the most competitive league in world football, because that's what the Championship is,that at times played so cracking stuff and have taken something from the 3 teams above and currently sit in the playoffs and have (to my recollection) never been outside a play off position all season, if so, very briefly. I'd rather watch these lads play like this in the Championship than be like Southampton,Ipswich in the rancid **** tip that is the premier league. Keep going lads, you're doing us proud.

I've thought, for some time, that RLB would let loose once we're sure of the playoffs, that point is rapidly approaching. We'll either find ourselves fighting for second place or building momentum at exactly the right time for the playoffs. Having Mayenda, Mundle, Watson and Danns available would give us a really well balanced team and bench … the best we've had all season in fact.

The entire season is a lottery and we’d need to win another ten games to be promoted …

… we’d only need to win two games to be promoted in the playoffs.

And what an experience that might be.

I turned Sky off as soon as the final whistle went for that very reason, multiple mentions of the top three and a few passing references to us.
They'd have to go off script completely had we done the unthinkable and hung on and won.
Enjoy watching the live football but becoming frustrated with the commentators. It's not just our games that this applies too, they have a favourite each game and the opposition is just there to make up the numbers like we were last night.

Possibly, but I think the second half the same could be said about most of the “attacking” players. First half I thought Robert’s was excellent, very disciplined and helped out massively. Le Fée got “nobbled” by them early, and it seemed to work!

So I've finally calmed down after last night. I still don't think that we deserved to lose but it was the way we lost and the way the pundits reacted that seriously pissed me off.

I thought we played brilliantly especially in the first half, hopefully now some people see what O'Nien brings to the side after his performance. Yes Leeds have some good players but they didn't hurt us until the last 10 mins when they brought their subs on and I'm still trying to work out why Samed was playing in the number 10 role even we have more suited players still on the bench.

It seems that there will be some fallout after all the bookings we accumulated last night and a few will be walking tightropes

ELF was out on his feet final 20 minutes imo.

Yes I know my point is it wasn’t a normal ‘10’ role though

he wasn’t there to be the creative midfielder
Exactly, we play 4-4-2 out of possession Samed was on to pair with Mayenda at the top of our press to break up Leeds play early. Whether it worked or not is a different conversation but Aleksic would never have done that job.

You’ll win the league mate. Best I’ve seen, but we nullified your threat completely, as you say, in the first 80! We’re the Youngest side in all 4 divisions I think too. Hope you smash Sheffield Utd!

Think Hume had a good game

you’re lot doubled up on jobe and stopped him playing tbf worked a treat your press was great

cirkin for me has been poor since he returned from injury, something not quite right with him

your subs could arguably start for most in the league and killed us

well played

I think Roberts worked his arse off last night and is getting some very unfair criticism. There’s moments he helped us get out of pressure and yes he gave a lazy foul away but the boy was knackered and made a mistake. He wasn’t the only one
It was a poor, lazy challenge, but we had defended every set piece superbly up until then!

Still think Rodon could’ve been red carded. A lot saying VAR would’ve sent him off gor aggression with his head (neutrals)! [HASHTAG]#0amd[/HASHTAG] that completely changes the game
