Best own goal ever was the diving header by Sandy Brown for Liverpool when he played for Everton...followed by that one by the bloke playing for York (I think) Chris summat-or-other, who nearly kicked himself in the head when booting it into his own net.
Was it Chris Brass at Bury? Hilarious - I think I read that he broke his nose in the process but as he'd broken it a couple of times before and suffered breathing issues this one actually sorted that out!

in more than 20 year of live suffering at bp and the kc, the player i disliked most was richard sneekes. in fact, there weren't many i disliked, but i really detested him.

my attitude was always that if a player wasnt very good, i could forgive him if he tried hard. on this basis, i would have huge differences with many about, for example, mike edwards and garry parker.
Once had a conversation with Adam Pearson about Richard Sneekers.
He said he was commuting from the Midlands, had 5 kids and was always either yawning or half asleep in the dressing room.
No wonder he was ****.

I've always been alone in this since the BBC 606 days but I always thought Anthony Gardner was so much worse than people acknowledged. For the reputation he came with (former England international and Tottenham first-teamer) and the fee we paid which was significant for a defender at the time, he was a pathetic defender. Big tall guy but totally bullied by everyone, when he did actually play. He was with us through that brilliant 2008-09 season but not involved in any of the good bits. Was more involved the following season due to Turner going and he was badly exposed. I remember Jermaine Defoe winning every header against him in a 2009-10 home hammering. Disappeared into obscurity as soon as we were relegated and he wasn't very old. I suspect he must've been badly affected by injuries before joining us and was basically shot by the time he joined.

Mummy’s boy. She even used to ring in sick for him.

He did start off well, but seemed to lose all his confidence after the Ipswich debacle.
I recall the first game in the play-off winning season v Plymouth at home. Brownie dropped Turner and played Coles. We lost 2-3. I don't think Coles played for us again. Not even in the cups. He did start his City career well, but fell away and became too much of a liability.

City have now had 1,172 first team players. I wouldn’t put Zayatte in the top 800 worst of them.

Seen each and every one of them play have you? That’s incredible.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, which will change depending on context. The first Premier League season was almost two decades ago. Many fans, even middle-aged ones, are likely to not have many memories of specific players before the early 2000s.

I’ve researched every 1172 of them yes.

You have your opinions, they are yours to enjoy. Don’t be surprised if daft ones get questioned though.
