I know I’ve had this debate before and people on here say keepers are different but why the **** have we got tlt if we don’t think he’s good enough to get on the bench. He’s not out on loan and he’s not ready for the bench….why exactly have we got him!!!

Blows my mind this goalkeeper debacle

McCann’t thought very highly of him at Donny last season. He can’t be that bad surely?

Tlt was injured preseason and couldn't go on loan.

You're probably overthinking it.

TLT was supposed to go out on loan in summer but got injured which scuppered it. Same for Cartwright. He also had a tentative loan to Crawley proposed this window, but it looks like with Rushworth being recalled we're likely to still let Racioppi leave.

So presumably we either think he's as good or better than Racioppi. Or we're just going to delay any loan for now and look to bring in another keeper to compete with Pandur.

Honestly think it’s ridiculous we’ve pissed off Racioppi. He’s not had a chance really. He’s got decent pedigree as well
Prob too good to play second fiddle, I imagine the expectation in the summer was that he'd be coming as first choice with Pandur as second, but form has seen IP take the shirt and the (still imo) absurd decision to bring Rushworth in as well has just compounded it.....if we can sell for similar money we paid and shift someone who's reportedly around the top 5 earners at the club and bring in a cheaper back up to Pandur, then it makes fiscal sense

He was second choice for Young Boys in the swiss league Pandur was first choice in the Dutch league. I know which I'd trust more as our No1, and no, there's nothing to suggest he's 'too good' to play second fiddle in the championship.

Just because he played a few times in the champs league (when they had no chance of progressing in it) doesn't mean he was expected to come in as no 1. He was an 800k signing, where we've had a look at him and said no thanks.

If I were to question anything about the Racioppi situation is who decided he's better than TLT when he signed in the first place.

Should we go and sign TNS 'keeper because he's played in the Europa league? Must be better than Pandur right?

Sorry, but no.
