He's not the only one, City are carving through them at will, yet aren't even in top gear yet. Delap has been talked up as an England cap, but has largely been anonymous. And the centre midfield are being bypassed like training ground mannequins.

The gulf is huge. It's why the three that went up last season and the bottom three now.

Aye I agree. Clarke done what he’s been put on the pitch to do in the first few minutes when they countered and that’s the only chance he’s had to do so.

Ipswich fans leaving before half time.

That really says something about the mentality of some football supporters.

They're clearly only there for the reflected glory of a win.

Ipswich were third division two seasons ago and are now hosting the Champions, I bet none of them left the ground on the day they were promoted. Whatever the case surely their players deserve their support when they're obviously doing their best. Even if they're obviously going to lose isn't watching real stars like de Bruyne and Haaland worth missing the start of 'Dancing on Ice' for.

It seems to be a case of 'entitlement or I'm off' to me ...

... sometimes defiance in the face of adversity shows what real support is, it's easy to sing when you're winning.

Like Ed Sheeran suddenly appearing on the pitch, in the tunnel, meeting the players off the coach.. knob

It's abysmal isn't it, like walking on stage when he's performing.

When I was doing the bodyguard work, in France, I'd sometimes be on the street and have mates walk past with their girlfriends or whoever ...

... they'd nod and walk on, they'd never dream of approaching me when I was at work.

Davis absolutely kills Clarke. Takes up all the positions that we know Clarke excels from.
