Aye I agree. Clarke done what he’s been put on the pitch to do in the first few minutes when they countered and that’s the only chance he’s had to do so.
Ipswich fans leaving before half time. That really says something about the mentality of some football supporters. They're clearly only there for the reflected glory of a win. Ipswich were third division two seasons ago and are now hosting the Champions, I bet none of them left the ground on the day they were promoted. Whatever the case surely their players deserve their support when they're obviously doing their best. Even if they're obviously going to lose isn't watching real stars like de Bruyne and Haaland worth missing the start of 'Dancing on Ice' for. It seems to be a case of 'entitlement or I'm off' to me ... ... sometimes defiance in the face of adversity shows what real support is, it's easy to sing when you're winning.
Like Ed Sheeran suddenly appearing on the pitch, in the tunnel, meeting the players off the coach.. knob
Just seen Brightons 3rd. Shocking from Onana..... https://x.com/Utd_Ashton/status/1881008723935858734?t=deZ_9WKHTu0stclzGXk9Tg&s=19
It's abysmal isn't it, like walking on stage when he's performing. When I was doing the bodyguard work, in France, I'd sometimes be on the street and have mates walk past with their girlfriends or whoever ... ... they'd nod and walk on, they'd never dream of approaching me when I was at work.
Drury keeps saying city need 6 to go above the Headchoppers. They’re already past them aren’t they? Was only a 3 gd swing needed.
They're above Newcastle at the moment ... ... the Mags are fifth until Chelsea play Wolves tomorrow. Title race
I thought Delap should've played him in when he was wide open but Delap went to the right. Decent shot and then City went down the other end and scored a 4th!
As great as he was for us...Clarke looks lost in PL. I feel for the lad, he did great for us and I wished him well when he left.. But his agent has thrown him under the bus here....Ipswich not the team for him
The clever lads, on here, would probably know better but I'd say they're totally over coached. They're following patterns and routines that have been drummed into them and don't know how to change things. Otherwise known as going through the motions.
