I named my dog Sandwich.
He's half-breed.
I stayed in a hotel last weekend and there was a chess convention going on. They all stood in reception bragging about how good they were at chess, it really did my head in....
I can't stand chess-nuts boasting in an open foyer
Hope you are getting things sorted thereHi Roger, I've just read the message you sent and, for some reason, couldn't reply to it.
But I didn't want you to think I'd ignored it. In all honesty it was great to receive and really touched me. I can't tell you how much the support I've had, from messages like yours, has helped me. It's an absolutely horrendous time but, as you've guessed, I'm gritting my teeth, getting on with things and being the best I can for everyone around me.
I'm always as kind, decent and generous as I can be with people and have to say I've been repaid in spades. We're all different, on here, but there's some great people.
