That's ok bro.

Fosse's just got himself up and dressed, he'll take it from here.

Fosse was awake and posting before 9am this morning buddy ... you, on the other hand, refuse to wake and recognise reality ... but, but, but .... the ratios prove that over 11,000 child deaths are entirely justified ... because .... errrrr...

I never said they were justified. No innocent death is justified.

But they are within the stated guidelines and boundaries of international law as applied to urban conflict.

As I've said to the birthday boy, you can't invoke international law to condemn occupation or settlements etc. but then ignore it entirely when it doesn't fit your agenda.

The only way to ignore it and maintain intellectual honesty is to go just one step further than the birthday boy recently implied: That Oct 7th was a justified and righteous response to occupation, settlements and blockades, and therefore the current conflict in its entirety is built on a false Causa Belli.

You said as much in the days and weeks following Oct 7th and only backtracked after being called out for it relentlessly by brb and others, so it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if you believe that fundamentally, Israel had no right whatsoever to respond.

You’ll be horrified when you hear about some of the stuff that has happened in the world since forever.

You will also note that under international law, Israel is ILLEGALLY occupying Palestinian territory and thus does not have a legal mandate to be in its territories or cite any acceptable kill ratios of its citizens. Bottom line is, it shouldn't ****ing be there in the first place.

As for me implying that Oct 7th was 'a justified and righteous response'. I said it was a response in context alongside the illegal occupation, subjugation and suppression of the Palestinian people and didn't happen out of nothing for no reason. I've also said on here that it was abhorrent what Hamas did. So stop being so ****ing dishonest.

lol Hamas just drop the "Iran backed this" line which has surely got the Iranians like "wtf bro that was a secret"

another from the 7th Oct 2023, Iran getting dropped in it very early, well on KO we all knew who was behind it. Still waiting for the Israel response on that a year later.....wish they'd hurry up. :bandit:

So, in this military operation, Hamas stormed a music festival, shot dead and stole some teenagers which I am sure, if are mildly attractive, will be raped regularly and brutaly.

If the outcome of this was supposed to be some sort of "yeah, let's negotiate now u ****s" good ****in' luck with that. They're going to bomb the living **** out of Gaza.

third one of yours from the 7th Oct 2023....and you was bang on calling it correctly.

So you believe that Israel should not have responded after Oct 7th, because it occupied (edit: blockaded and controlled) Gaza prior to that date?

Nobody on here, to my knowledge said Israel shouldn't respond or that Israel didn't have every right to defend itself ...

What was said - and remains true - is that there will never be peace in the region whilst Israel continues to fly in the face of International Law in regard to illegal occupation of, and illegal settlements in, Palestinian territories ...

Glad we've been able to clear that up ...

Exactly. Israel can defend itself but just in the way people who don’t want it to defend itself are ok with. The perfect zero civilian death, nobody really noticing at all, global first for war in history.

Maintaining the usual level of brutality and bloodshed might have been tolerable in the eyes of the world - accusations of hypocricy notwisthstanding. Ramping the mayhem up to 11 was certain to utterly trash Israel's reputation. Netanyahu and his cronies don't care about that, obviously; still not sure it's a wise move, from any perspective.

The scenes of joy before any retaliation probably mean the reputation was gone anyway and certainly mean I don’t give a **** about it in future. Happy to be the Millwall of the world.
