Mental that a player has openly stated he’d rather come here than go to the Middle East for more money and our fans are on his case
I think the fact is he had a proper farewell to the fans in their last home game, where he said goodbye etc. also when he was linked and the story came out about making a decision on who to join it makes so much sense that they were gonna let him leave freely otherwise why would he “make a decision”Why does the rest of the world need to know about it? There’s a negotiation between three parties
I think he knew because he was taking his captains armband off before the ref had got the cards out of his pocketMaybe he meant he forgot for a second. It was the type of foul worth a yellow at that point in the game but not if you already had one.

They don’t in all honesty, but then you would be wondering for the rest of your life why he turned us down after he had done a huge splurge telling us he can’t wait to start for us.Why does the rest of the world need to know about it? There’s a negotiation between three parties
Still doesn’t mean you have to gob on off social media. I know you’re addicted to the thing, we all are to a much lesser extent, but every story doesn’t need to be posted online to keep dullards happy .I think the fact is he had a proper farewell to the fans in their last home game, where he said goodbye etc. also when he was linked and the story came out about making a decision on who to join it makes so much sense that they were gonna let him leave freely otherwise why would he “make a decision”
now new owners have come in and won’t let him leave when he’s already said his goodbyes etc and this would be quite a big move for him I can see why he’s not happy at all. Even their fans are wanting the club to let him go, you can see them saying the club is betraying the player
Absolutely. Just making the point new owners are not committed to the words of previous ones, only contractual commitments. Thankfully. You don’t know what KLD has said. We know what there new owner has said, you have just said it yourself.
I think the players agent has been a bit trigger happy throughout. We’ve said nowt about him have we?They don’t in all honesty, but then you would be wondering for the rest of your life why he turned us down after he had done a huge splurge telling us he can’t wait to start for us.
I still believe verbal agreements should have just as much standing.Absolutely. Just making the point new owners are not committed to the words of previous ones, only contractual commitments. Thankfully.
Perhaps. Said agent, if he was any good, may well have got a contractual commitment to a release clause. I dont really see why the new owners should feel obliged to honour that promise and release a 20 goal a season man for peanuts who is under contract.I’d normally agree but isn’t he and his agent saying they promised him a transfer this summer if he remained for the 23/24 season? At 30 years old and maybe the last chance he’ll get a move as good as this I can understand the frustration if true
if it weren’t for that, no one would have anything to talk about on here !I dont think the new owner has reneged on a pay rise have they? Thought it was they blocked the move he had been promised. I wonder if KLD kept every promise Donald made.
Honestly even if I felt I had a promise reneged on I would keep my feelings private, and make them known in private sessions only. This social media tale telling is not for me.
Not that I know of.I think the players agent has been a bit trigger happy throughout. We’ve said nowt about him have we?
I think as we’ll see, Caen changing their word won’t have a good outcome for Caen. It’s not wise or fair.I still believe verbal agreements should have just as much standing.
I usually agree. Before this he hasn’t been a big media personality. Clearly feels betrayedYep i dont like it at all, its a big red flag for me
So he's a liar, fair enoughIf he thought he had not been booked he would have looked shocked and had words with the ref. Instead he looked disappointed and angry with himself
There is a way to get what you want in football, and in my opinion this isnt it. It is only my opinion of course. He and his agent clearly see it differently. If he joins and gives his all he will have my support, but there will be a nagging doubt on behaviour if there is another move he wants in 2 years and doesnt get what he wants.Mental that a player has openly stated he’d rather come here than go to the Middle East for more money and our fans are on his case![]()
Ideally so do I. But the new owners cant be bound by other folks promises. For me anyway.I still believe verbal agreements should have just as much standing.
He’s taking a bottle of chianti with himHannibal off to Burnley
