It’s possible he has a release clause for then, I’m sure there’ll be a reason for that slight delay though.
I don’t know pretty much anything about Lorients squad; other than they had the 8th highest budget in the league (according to that article I posted)
I saw somewhere that the season they finished 10th they had the smallest budget in the league. Given they have a stadium with a capacity of 18k and have spent much of the last decade in ligue 2, I can't see how they could have a big budget.
They had one of the smallest budgets in the league and finished 10th, sold their best players for big profits so their budget increased. Money was invested in poor replacements for those players sold it seems.
Interesting this. Not sure which job I'd take. Poor run of form by Ten Hag and he could be the next man up.
I'd be suprised if he went to Man Utd over being the main man elsewhere, but as you say a bad start for ETH and he would probably get the main job at utd
It has to be said, the last few appointments have been a shambles and their policy does seem to be improving ... ... they're miles behind City and it could be another decade before they win anything.
Berreda and Wilcox have both jumped ship from City to United. Once Ashworth starts work you'd think they have some proper footballing people to make sensible decisions with the millions they generate. Then you need to factor in Pep potentially leaving after next season.
Yeah I think they will be better this season. They've hired well behind the scenes as you say, taken recruitment away from Ten Hag and some of the rumoured transfers are a lot more in line with the top clubs in the country. Less superstars more players than fit. Don't think Ratcliffe will allow them to overpay like they used to either.
I can see this season being similar to Ranieiri at Chelsea when the Russian got control minus the lavish spending,
Dunno really. Lager is probably the world's most popular beer and that's been around since the 1400s.
Apologies if already posted... https://x.com/GrahamFalk/status/1804258204924186868?t=n4dXjfx3ZE5TtWDNEHO0Qg&s=19 One of the comments on the tweet...
seems like a great addition to me. Especially considering young players. Want to get their mindset and confidence right
Wonder if we could add a similar role permanently into the academy as well as first team. They are good clubs hes worked at in Germany as well.
Don't mind if I do please log in to view this image Granted, I had a fiver on Still, Rosenior, and Cifuentes as well like haha.
