It's not Mbappe, but Troy Parrott got another hat trick today.
Just sayin'.....![]()

He's given a very good account of himself.
Going into the last year of his contract now, so both he and the club have a big decision to make.
He is a few years older than Lankshear, Scarlett and Veliz, so might be eager for regular football elsewhere.
what would you do?
id be off if it’s game time I want
a bigger pay packet? Maybe I stay

We have a tendency to massively over hype young players. Statistically only a fraction will go on to have outstanding careers
Troy scored an extra time winner for Ireland tonight in a friendly against Hungary. Bit lucky with the finish but after a counter attack break from his own half! Lads confidence is flying.

I had in my head that Tanganga had one more year left. Very surprised we’ve allowed his deal to run down to be honest, think we’ve probably missed on out on a good £15m+ especially after his impressive Millwall loan, he’d be worth more but for injuries which are seemingly now behind him. He’ll be a very smart pickup for a number of sides, easily Prem calibre.
Sessegnon I have a lot of sympathy for from his injury nightmare but my word what an awful, awful player and signing he’s been. I genuinely don’t think I can name 3 positive performances from him. Probably the worst signing of that 19/20 bunch and that takes some doing, very much a leading candidate for our worst ever signing too. I struggle to see where he goes from here, he might get one or two pay as you play offers, other than that I genuinely wouldn’t be surprised if he looks at an early retirement, he’s utterly broken at 24 and no club will take a big enough risk on him.
Edit: Dan KP and Ally Gold have said we had an option to extend Tanganga’s deal by a year, really feels like an odd decision not to have done so, that’s a HG solid defender who just excelled for the second half of the season in the Champ leaving for nothing... Very, very odd decision.
£15m+ for Tanganga is very generous. I couldn't see us getting more than £5-7m for him.
And if the club now looks at that kind of money as loose change not worth the headache of an extension and finding a permanent move, that can only be good news.
I think (hope) we just want to get a move on and clear as much out as possible before the Euros.
There are plenty of players who will be much harder to shift, and for fees worth the headache of shifting them.
