FFS Acun has said that within 2 days of giving Liam the heave ho he had 15 applications for the job, probably got a whole load more since then. Now he may have wanted Walter, but if someone better has thrown their hat into the ring he may reconsider that idea.
There's no way this Walter guy can be the best applicant they've had so fingers crossed this is right and we end up with a proper manager next season for the Championship

Ahead of the fan event the other night, we all understood Acuns reasoning behind letting Rosie go, he'd brought in more attacking players in the hope that we'd play more attacking football and he didn't feel that happened. Explanation given, some agreed, some disagreed, but at least everyone understood his position and that should have been the end of it.

Then he turns up at a fan event and says that Allsop should have been dropped for Pandur, that Ohio should have played more, that Connolly was a little fat ****. All of it completely unnecessary and all of it now leading fans to question how much pressure was being put on the manager to pick certain players.

It served absolutely no purpose, it just led to more people questioning what actually went on, if was very poor management of the situation.

If this is true it confirms what I was thinking, thanks for posting.

He didn't realise he was such a good manager until the recruitment specialists at HCAFC told the world two weeks ago. He just needs time to see what the other clubs showing interest have to offer. There must surely be a plan B and C.
We should throw in more of these babies...

Let's be honest...he's seen the training ground!

That's your Allams legacy right there!!!!!

It does make you wonder what people like him does think, even more so coming when he's been with Bayern, Stuttgart and Hamburg!! I guess Acun shows them 'plans' for the future, but how far off are those 'plans' in practice? It must be a massive culture change coming to our facilities!

I think the fact that Rosie is being linked with the Brighton job speaks volumes. Still gutted, it’s like one of my dogs has gone to rainbow bridge.

.... of the person linking him. He's still a work in progress and needs time to adjust his strict style of play that isn't working at the moment. He's young enough to do well in the future if he learns from his mistakes.

Can't say as I'm impressed with what's been said about Mr Walter. Sounds like a fanatical fan of suicide ball with no question of altering his style for anything, with the public relations skills of Nigel Pearson. If he gets the job, I hope he does well but I'm a fan of a more pragmatic approach (no coaching badges before you ask)
