There's no indication I've seen that this fella's even been to Hull yet, seen the ground, the training facilities...

Are manager/coach salaries in FFP?

If it is 6yrs, which I doubt it is....is it to get around the above? And just have a load of clauses to **** him off if he is dog ****!

Paul Heckingbottom is now second favourite with Sky Bet. However, he is at 8/1 whilst Big Tim is 2/9 so may just be that all others have drifted right out as the decisions been made?

The thing is, no one is disregarding that the sacking of Rosie was premature and undeserved but this guy is proven, everywhere he’s been at achieving what Acun and Tan want for the fans. The premier league is not all that when you look at the bottom 3, Burnley by which did the football Rosenior tried to play much better than we did, obviously player quality plays a factor, but this league is crying out for something different. Everyone is going down the Pep route.
This was something that concerned me when it looked like we may get promoted. It's all very well playing the modern Pep style, as most of the PL do now, but as soon as you come up against a team with better players, and who execute that plan better, you'll come a cropper. Of the three promoted teams last year, Luton made the best fist of it (who'da thought?) by playing their brand of more muscular, direct, football and I suspect that might be a better model for ambitious Championship teams in the future.

Always felt Adam Pearson's tenure created the best atmosphere. Liked 'Tiger, Tiger burning bright' and he had a consistent play list (in pre match music which seemed to build up as got closer to kick off). I'll get my tin hat but not a fan of the pre match music now - it's too loud! Seriously think it detracts from atmosphere rather than builds it up. But I appreciate this might not be a commonly held view.
I remember Tim Lovejoy saying how he really liked the 'City Hull, City Hull, City Hull' chant back in the day - identifiably and uniquely ours, but despite a few of us trying to get it going at away games there's been no takers.
