Can’t see him dropping to League 1. Only really the Plymouth and Sunderland jobs available though so may have to bide his time

Retained list needs to be published by Saturday. I’d go for a Wednesday announcement.

Can anyone imagine at the evening with Acun event him saying - we hope to appoint soon. No razzmatazz in that…expect it announced just before it at the event.

Plymouth might not be a bad little job for someone.

Decently sized place, I was quietly impressed by some of their play here and there wouldn’t be unrealistic expectations.

The right person could do a decent job there.

Ended up getting 6 coffees but spilled 5 of them all down myself, so it ended up the same as just getting 1 coffee and being more careful.

    But more exciting…

Reminds me of the story of Bobby Gould trying to sign Terry Gibson for Wimbledon...Last thing he wanted to do was let Gibson see the Plough Lane ground, and the training facilities...Took him to a posh eatery on Wimbledon High Street instead and persuaded him to sign...Maybe Brucie should have taken DJ Campbell to a wine bar in Beverley!!

Surely the manager is going to be sorted before Wednesday otherwise that would be all he’d get asked about. Don’t think there’s much else people would want to hear him talk about at the moment. Imagine if it was just Acun describing how good he thinks the pitch will be.

I was born in Beverley to a German Mum and my Dad was from Hull. My Dad went to Trinity House, grew up on Bransholme and Hesse Road. My Mums family emigrated to Canada after the war, she was born in Lübeck. My Mum came to Hull to do nurse training and that’s how she met my Dad. She came to Hull as one of my German great aunts had married an English guy and live in Kirkella (my uncle Pete owned the electrical engineers “John can’t remember the last name” where the Hull Daily Mail offices sit on Springbank, he sold his land to them). I started life in Swanland in 76, moved to Ferriby in 79, lived in Canada for a while, back to Ferriby then moved to Glasgow in 89 and pretty much been here ever since.

I absolutely love baseball, can watch it for hours, and when you go, it’s incredible, it’s a day out.

Was just reading back as I hadn’t had time to see what all the fuss was about. Großte is obviously biggest and pech is bad luck, and Vogel bird as many have said.

This is my boy, he’s bigger than my bitch now and he’s only 7 months, this was a few months ago, he’s an absolute knob, but we’re getting there. He’s a rescue, dumped in a cardboard box with his litter 3 weeks before Christmas.

And while we’re at it, might as well complete the clan, this is Lola who is nearly 13 which is an incredible age for a Newfie, getting a 4.5 hour haircut and shave. That picture was taken when I was only half way through.

Been said a few times, not about my stuff, but why does it bother you? It’s off topic yeah, but it’s good to get to know each other???? That’s what communities like this are for are they not?? Nothing malicious, not political, taken up a few messages and replying to information people had asked about.

I still miss Rosenior. There you go, I made a comment about our now ex-manager to qualify my reply to yourself. Have a nice sunny day down under .

It just didn't even seem as if you were replying to anyone or that anyone else had brought up dogs so it was completely out of nowhere, multiple posts with massive images. That's all. Like when Pete posted photos before and after his haircut for no apparent reason and a lot of people commented on it being strange. Just a bit odd when there was nothing prompting it!
