Story goes the 'old faithfuls' think he has under invested and is personally taking or paying himself too much out of the club.

There’s no money to take out the club, he’s got cumulative losses of £1.8m, he made a major loss last season and he can’t stick it into admin as he’s got a personal guarantee on a six figure loan. It’s a mess.

Why isn’t anyone locally wanting to back Pearson, I’m not really into rugby so it’s probably something I’ve missed
Would you stick in hundreds of thousands for a bloke to still be in charge taking a massive salary? The difference between Hull and Rovers is that when Hudge went looking for help he wasnt asking someone to fund his own wages! He was putting in an amount and got others to match it. Pearson wants someone else to fund his ego trip.

as he should…every chief exec / chairman gets paid …why is that an issue? It’s a professional business isn’t it?
There is not another owner in Super League that takes a salary. And he is not the Chief Exec. The CEO is the ex social media manager he move into a higher role to carry out his dirty work.

Source of great amusement in HDM gone now that Smith won’t be spouting any more.
But their fans still provide some. One, on the news FC are appointing a Director Of Rugby, writes he is happy with a DOR as it works for Man Utd As someone replied, they didn’t know Man Utd have a DOR.
No doubt another FC fan proud of his local team who “supports” a football team from another city.

Company accounts for clubs will generally show significant directors earnings, for instance Wigan Warriors director paid himself £148,357 last year (as you say, most rugby league club owners don't pay themselves), Hull FC show no such payments in their accounts.

You make it sound like he took the bloke handling Twitter and made him CEO, in fact he was made a director shortly after Pearson bought FC in 2011 and has been Chief Exec for over seven years.

You mean to tell us, after all this time, that you actually liked the FC content in the HDM?

I didn’t say I liked it per se. I said Smith’s comments were a source of great amusement.

Anyone heard mally walker and someone from mkm have bought hull fc, barmbys involved aswell. I’m no egg chaser so don’t know how true it is

Pearson takes 150k a year as a wage, and has a 50k company credit card - apparently.

Mally Walker rumoured to have had a 1.2m bid accepted by Pearson - other investors coming on board too. Players being released, new signings and new coach been targeted. Pearson cut the playing budget by around 600k - yet still publicly saying that he was spending up to the salary cap. So he was either lying blatantly in the press to get the season pass sales (8k again this year approx.), or the person in the club in charge of managing the playing budget is completely inept

Pearson done his usual trick it seems. Been telling Tony for a week all is well then rang him today and sacked him.

That's not good enough. I pay for Sky Sports and I shouldn't have to rely on picking up this sort of news here or in the local paper. I much prefer a live sacking on TV immediately after a defeat. I pay for entertainment and expect to receive it.

Bloody idiot if he has bid 1.2 million
He’s sell for a lot less
