Well reading between the lines of what Dodds has said, has me thinking it will be before season ends. But every time I read between the lines I’m bastard wrong

Reading the actual lines, I think they are looking carefully at which option would be in the best long term interest of the club. If that target becomes available before the end of the season, they will act, if not then it will be at the seasons end.
I think that's an accurate summation of the text, rather than my opinion.

There is no fun in accurate translations, you have to read between the lines, FFS.

I’m going to guess they’re introduced to the crowd at the sheff wed game, source is the voices in my head though so take it with a pinch of salt

Reading between the lines, I conclude you are not happy with my post.
I mean let’s be honest all we know is that you told us what Dodds actually says, we can all see that. Read between the lines is about translation, interpretation, opinion, which can be shot down. Go for it, live dangerously, there’s a few posters who have a worse bite than Hannibal Lecter, but we can handle that.

Okay, I'll give it a go, my sauce tells me it's that Alice Cooper person, but maybe that could be too much sauce, too early?

If, in life, you accept that you will be wrong more times than you will be right.
You will be right more times than you will be wrong.
Sorry I missed a word
If, in married life...

Are the voices on your head ITK? (hate that phrase btw)

So do I mate, it implies someone is 'on the inside' and knows what's going on in the club.

I doubt that unless drinking with Kevin Ball counts!

Anyone truly in the club either wouldn't or couldn't say unless they want to be sacked or sued.

I've been lucky to have met people, outside the club who've learned things.

I once knew a football agent in Monaco, friend of the awful Ken Bates who I met, he was a real gossip ...

... also an obnoxious twat hence I'm no longer in contact <laugh>

That's typical of where info comes from, I've never really known anyone in the club.

For what it is worth I know quite a lot of people inside football clubs, coaches mainly. They tend to know very little about appointments or recruitment. I know a couple at first team level in the championship and they dont really know that much. Arguably a very small number on the inside of a club knows much about these things.

On the flip side I have a great pal who is an agent. I dont want to know what he knows tbh so never ask. He tells me 95% of what he hears never occurs, or maybe never was even on the cards. He says so many things are mooted but never go far you would be mad to share any info because you would be wrong so much. I played golf with him a few weeks ago and did ask about our head coach gig. He said no idea, but he thinks we will have our work cut out after this season, but that is opinion only.
