Anyone use these Faraday car key wallets that block car thieves cloning the keys signal to your car? They are cheap so I'm getting one but wouldn't keeping your key fob in an old backy tin work just as well?

I have one; £3.50 from Amazon - inside your microwave works just as well (found out after I'd bought one)!

I have a Faraday pouch and a Faraday box (they came as a pair) and they definitely work, it’s easy enough to test them.

And you should definitely test them, particularly if you’re getting something really cheap from Amazon.

Yep
They do work
Whether or not there’s much of a risk I’m not sure, but we did get a few cars nicked near us recently so I went old school and used the big yellow steering wheel locks when parked overnight.

It would seem the most determined/professional car thieves don't need key access anyway. Ultimately DBT's solution is probably most effective.
