Where has it been posted on here that any are not? This is part of this twisting, mis-interpreting, making stuff up that hasn't actually been said. As said earlier, it's plain ridiculous.
Having said that, rather ironically, a few of those that are 'overly positive' about Rosenior (for want of a better description) have actually been posting that they are not desperate for him to succeed, in that they don't want us to go up yet!

Who has said they don't want us to go up? I thought most had said they wouldn't mind if we didn't go up?

Like you said, people already pull this data in charts and graphs and clubs will have been using such information for years. You can already go on WhoScored or other similar sites and sort teams by all of these metrics, or go to a specific team or player and see how they rank vs average team in each metric. If it's just pulling these things together in a convenient way, I'd just call that software.

Then you must understand the potential this has within football but yes this particular tool was/is very basic, seems to be just the standard data you find on the type of sites you mentioned fed into Chat GPT

I think the use of Ai in football could be huge and like all other industries/economies a way of levelling out the playing field if used effectively

I'm a lot like you.

I can understand the benefits of being promoted(financially) for our Club and I can understand that our young fan base(basically the future moaners:emoticon-0102-bigsm) would be thrilled to see us coming up against some of the best teams in Europe.In that sense and for that reason, I can't argue with why the vast majority would love to see us promoted...

From my own personal point of view,I can't be arsed with the Premier League.Sanitised Football in sanitised Stadia with players being paid weekly in excess of what some of us aspire to earn in 10 years of hard toil...Add in the ridiculous ****fest that is VAR and the 3 minutes of tension and frustration caused by deciding if a goal is a goal and my stomach is churned...And will be further when they eventually start ****ing around with a sin-bin system(it'll come,no doubt in my mind)

Still all to play for this season and we're still in there pitching,if we go up we'll have earned it,good luck to the Club and the players,I wish them success and always have.

Me,I'll probably latch on to a Junior or amateur local team up here for a season and a change of scenery..UTT!

I would much rather be a big dog in the competitive championship than a whipping boy in the prem. Look at the blunts or Burnley, how many of their fans are enjoying this season? No many I bet!

So really you're asking the team to not compete for fear of promotion? Or, you do away with promotion/relegation altogether? Neither will provide us with the kind of football we saw yesterday.
Until the PL stops making as much money as it does we're stuck with it and it's what every pro footballer, manager and club owner aspires to.

I wonder if Brentford or Brighton fans feel the same?

There’s always the possibility we’d have a bad season - but there’s also the possibility for clever growth and being competitive in cups.

I’d rather take the chance and go up and see what happens. It’s unlikely we’d have ever got to an FA Cup final if we’d have stayed in the Championship so I’m all for improving our squad and seeing if we get another experience like that.

Their fans must trudge to the ground every week knowing they're on to a hiding and hoping they can at least get a corner,3 throw-ins and with much prayer...A shot at the opposition's goal.

The Premier League has changed dramatically since our first foray into it,it's only my opinion but it's been destroyed by the footballing authorities and greed!!

The one thing I would say and I do agree regarding being a consistent top Championship side,others will counter...To what aim,where does it lead if it leads to nowhere,will we attract players with the proviso that they won't play in the Premier League,they're right.

The one thing you’re all forgetting is the feeling when you beat one of the top teams - and stuff it up the arrogance , ignorance and condescension they mostly seem to have for us and others like us -
If we go up we should grasp it and do everything g we can too get stable there and become a regular - trouble is there are too many cheats on and off the pitch ‘ and there’s the we’ve got preserve how the Premier League looks ‘ at all costs bunch . There is not one good reason for Leicester if they’ve breached FFP should be allowed to go up , as had they not their side would almost certainly been weaker .

I think you make some good points here. My only issue with it is, is being in the Championship actually that great? I understand the point that you might get whipped every week in the PL, but at this level we're still disappointed or frustrated on a regular basis. For all my positivity about LR and our prospects under him, I do think this season has been a very frustrating one. Our last two promotion seasons (15/16 and the League 1 one) were both quite frustrating too; expectation was high and we often seemed to be struggling against poor teams. Obviously the endings were good but I don't think it was week after week of excitement. Conversely, the 13/14 season in the PL we finished 17th I think, and objectively our results weren't amazing, but it felt like an amazing season. I think expectation is important. Being in the PL you enjoy every win that much more because you don't expect it.

I also think Drew makes a good point that we don't necessarily have to be a whipping boy. LR will definitely have plans for us to follow in the footsteps of Brighton and Brentford.
