Has this levelling up been cancelled or is it just delayed ...

"It has been reported that the North East had more train cancellations than any other English region, at 6%, and Newcastle Central Station had the joint third-highest cancellation rate among Britain's busiest 100 stations."

"PM Boris Johnson has given his backing to High Speed 2 and committed to delivering both phases of the high-speed rail programme linking London to Birmingham, Leeds and Manchester.
Speaking in Parliament on 11 February, Mr Johnson told MPs concerns over costs had not detracted from the fundamental value of HS2 and he pledged to ‘get HS2 done’.

Best just not do anything at all then.

Just lie down and die.

The abject fear of changing anything from the Remain side is pathetic at this point.
If you’re doing sides and generalising, then Brexiteer’s entire ideology is born out of a fear of change, harking back to blue passports and imperial measurements and yearning the return of a bygone era.

Still clinging to that ridiculous reasoning?

'it's cos they're all racist thickies'

I hereby claim the title of Winner Of Politics ;)

Lots going on, but suspiciously quiet.....ah it's Labour under the microscope for the first time in a long time, that explains it.

Guess what, it's not enough to not be the Tories, as has been said plenty times. Most of the country knows they'll be next in power, so now they're getting some real scrutiny.

Urgent parliamentary question to the Prisons minister...
Why was there 80 prison officers (40% of workforce) not on duty on the day Daniel Khalife escaped?

I’ve changed sides from leave to let’s go back into partnership with Europe.
Don’t be frightened of changing views when things come to light like they were lying through their back teeth.

Presumably there would need to be at least a 50/50 split in the workforce just to cover a 24hr day. That's before we get to rest days, maximum shift times (I'm guessing 8 hours, so that's then a 33/33/33 split), mandated staffing levels etc.

It's not just a case of everyone in all the time.
