Chair would seem odd after signing Twine too given he’s an attacking midfielder first.

Like Kaplan I’d rather a premium defensive midfielder, we definitely need another wide player but feel 2 before moving anyone on would leave us in a sticky one

Im not sure how reliable the English thing is. Seems to have stemmed from the podcast posted, not sure who that guy is or why he would have the info and most of the stuff he mentioned were things that Baz had said. The other guys on the Pod seemed confused in terms of expected signings and who the English talent is etc, when we know already that was Twine.

He has press credentials so goes to all the press conferences and I suspect has off the record chats with Baz and Rosenior.

Fair enough. Is that what would prevent him from sharing the name also? As I was wondering how it's possible he hasn't shared it with his podcast mates who then pass it on to so and so who then posts here haha

Maybe it's all smoke and mirrors and we're actually after a CDM and not in for a winger at all? Too much leaked last year so this would keep people off the scent and distracted from what was really going on. Or maybe not.

Dan James - Alfred, split it up, could be AL (attacking left), FRED (Former RED - Man Utd). He has history with us and would also fit what we are crying out for. Again, I don’t think he’ll be too happy where he is - who would?

Ryan Kent - Someone has already suggested this and I believe they figured it out (sorry, I can’t remember who). I think Baz thought Alfred was Superman’s butler, Clark Kent etc. When I saw Alfred that was the first thing my brain thought of - bizarrely.

So, which do we think it is? Or does anyone think it’s someone else?
