Licence to swerve my friendWasn’t corberan flavour of the month to continue bielsaball. What happened there
To be fair to Buck, when the owner died in the helicopter crash weren’t the family reluctant to keep investing big conkers and Rodgers warned they would end up in trouble?Did he just get sacked for putting Leicester in deep relegation trouble? Or am I imagining that?
I just find people’s often very strong and very varying opinions on different coaches fairly amusing. Hence I painted both the yin and Yang of Rodgers.
Think their owners owned an airline that went bust or almost during covid, hence no transfer budget last summerTo be fair to Buck, when the owner died in the helicopter crash weren’t the family reluctant to keep investing big conkers and Rodgers warned they would end up in trouble?
Sounds like a perfect fit for us, he can slag the owners off before the fans do![]()
Yep and on top of that all their businesses revolved around leasing planes, repairing planes, servicing planes, selling private jets etc. covid stopped everything for them. Still billionaire family but not going to pump cash into football at this timeThink their owners owned an airline that went bust or almost during covid, hence no transfer budget last summer
No one beats me to that i am faster than a Greek taxi driver.... But only just.To be fair to Buck, when the owner died in the helicopter crash weren’t the family reluctant to keep investing big conkers and Rodgers warned they would end up in trouble?

Proved right though and he gets no pleasure from it.Licence to swerve my frienda moving target is harder to hit and if you spout loudly enough, eventually you will be right.
Not you of course, you have been stoic in your criticism of the club for years![]()
I note that Liverpool have new DoF coming in this week and Klopp knows him well from back homeNeither fills me with confidence, webber or Scott, both second rate from second rate clubs, if we wan't to recover we will have to do a lot better than them, must be someone out their?
So who is the new guy replacing, is he any good and is he available? and the biggest question is, would he work with us.I note that Liverpool have new DoF coming in this week and Klopp knows him well from back home
Julian Ward leaves and the new German comes in. Ward was at Anfield for 10 years but was responsible for the squad not being refreshed and around 5 senior players leaving next week on free transfers. They also brought in a Brazil star who never played a league match so he leaves tooSo who is the new guy replacing, is he any good and is he available? and the biggest question is, would he work with us.
Ok now that we're about to fall back into the potential abyss of the Championship but we really need mega rich owners don't we.
All this faffing about and fiddling at the edges to try and finish 12-17th in the PL has been great but the world and the world of football has changed forever and so we must change with it or simply fade away to become nothing more than an after thought on the sports pages that matter.
Maybe that process to find the wealthy owners is already underway though as the 49ers investment vehicle will soon take full control and whilst they aren't them they surely will be the stepping stone we require to attract a big fish.

Not being funny mate but it is comments like these that make so many outsiders hate us - second rate DOF's that you had likely never have heard of before the last couple of days and second rate clubs????Neither fills me with confidence, webber or Scott, both second rate from second rate clubs, if we wan't to recover we will have to do a lot better than them, must be someone out their?
Spot on.Not being funny mate but it is comments like these that make so many outsiders hate us - second rate DOF's that you had likely never have heard of before the last couple of days and second rate clubs????

I’ve been saying this for months. I got laughed at when mentioning Sir Jim Ratcliffe months ago. I admit to a bit of inside knowledge back then as some will remember that it was Patrick Viera who recruited my nephew to be head groundsman at Nice, owned by Ineos Sir Jim. He was looking for a big name football club in the UK and months later is in the running for Man Utd, back then he mentioned to my nephew who was just completing relaying a new pitch and getting ready to start on the stadium pitch, that Leeds is an opportunity because they are a one club city……. Months later we think his bid for scum will fail as the Qatari sheik is favourite. It’s my belief that whoever fails to get Man Utd may have a go for Leeds. I also know Radz was in Qatar 6 weeks ago, yes we know his big mate own PSG etc (QSI) but that guy is also a relation/close mate of the guy trying to take scum. Remember 49ers are an investment group and would be criminal If not getting value and profit from an investment….. just sayingOk now that we're about to fall back into the potential abyss of the Championship but we really need mega rich owners don't we.
