It gets better - the margins on PPE contracts (many of which were fast tracked for the benefit of people who knew Con MPs, Ministers etc), were 25 to 55%. Pretty good when a margin of 10% on a business would keep shareholders more than happy. In a lot of cases the money went straight offshore and in a few cases the companies were immediately wound up after delivery so they don't have to provide accounts.

The latest editions of Roald Dahl’s children’s books have been edited to remove language which could be deemed offensive.
References within the classic children’s books relating to weight, mental health, violence, gender and race have been cut and rewritten, the Daily Telegraph reported.
Edits reportedly include removing the word “fat” from every book and The Cloud-Men in James And The Giant Peach have become “Cloud-People”
And the WOKE, PC brigade go marching on. Absolutely unnecessary, embarrassing.

Surely if we know all these things were fraud we should be able to chase them down for recompense?
I think it's all about limited liability. We know it was fraud but since the business's are not there any longer they cannot be held liable.
The government would be chasing their mates then
