But that's the elephant, bounce backs were up to £50k all guaranteed by the government mostly given to small businesses. I've talked to many where it was just considered free money, take the loan, fold the business, start up again, an administrative dissolution with no lasting effects.
We all saw many self employed when furlough was announced bleating about the levels they were going to be paid at, well yes, it was based on what they had declared previously which usually involved very limited tax liability. They got caught out with that but these loans were their savior.
There's no denial that there were very dodgy contracts on a governmental level but the biggest amount of money lost to taaxpayers went to Bob the builder et al.

Sleepy Joe is doing his best to poke Putin with a stick. He's managed to get China to join Putin's side.
This whole conflict has been seeded by the US since before the 2014 Maidan Square 'revolution' where the Ukraine government was overthrown because they wouldn't sign a free trade agreement with the EU or agree to join NATO.
Russia didn't want NATO weapons on its border, just as the US wouldn't, but the US are intent on baiting Russia, possibly at all our expenses.
If Putin presses the button the Politicians will be OK. The stupid people think that the US will stop the bombs heading for them. They won't, you're an acceptable casualty.

Dig into this story beyond what every MSM outlet is telling you because this is as serious as it gets.

I ****ing hate Politicians, especially career bent ones like Joe ****ing Biden.

He stopped on Monday. That may be why he thought it worth mentioning. Not that I believe him.

Except that's a completely BS Russian version of events.
Russia imposed an import ban on Ukrainian goods in 2013 because they didn't like President Yanukovych moving closer to Western Europe and it partially tanked the Ukr economy. Yanu had already shelved plans to apply to join NATO back in 2010.
The Ukraine parliament massively backed the President in 2013 when he said he wanted to move closer to Europe and sign an EU-Ukraine agreement - it wasn't an agreement to join the EU and it wasn't an agreement to join NATO. Yanukovych himself actually wanted to make reforms to align Ukrainian laws with the EUs - access to banking support appealed because Russia was buggering up the Ukr economy. He then got his arm twisted by Russia and changed his mind, ignoring his parliament because Russia offered him money without any pesky need to be more transparent and democratic. The police shooting 100+ people turned massed demos into a revolution. Yanukovych agreed to form a unified government and then did a runner to Russia.
Russia then annexed Crimea and sent 'the little green men' into Donbas (full of Russian speakers because Stalin had starved and deported the locals) and the Russian 53rd Guards AA regiment shot down MH17.
Given the Ukrainians have had some very unpleasant experiences within living memory of being ruled by Russia they hardly needed prompting to get pissed off with a leader who went pro Russian.
So naff all to do with NATO and naff all to do with Biden. As for Trump, he praised Putin when he occupied Crimea and praised him when he expelled US diplomats from Russia. That's called appeasement and it doesn't have a brilliant track record.

Interesting stuff about what happened in 2013. It's very difficult to separate the wheat from the chaff when you're looking in to things like this.
I'm not surprised that any Politician changes their mind when they look to benefit, that's how the scum work.
My point is that the US has been behind much of the unrest in the region. I know that Ukraine is notoriously the most corrupt nation in Europe so it doesn't take much to turn their heads.
As far as I'm aware the East of Ukraine is pro Russia whereas the West, including Kyiv is pro the West, so there is always a fire burning.
We are being told that if we don't stop Putin he won't stop at Ukraine but has he given the impression to you that he will continue? I haven't seen that.
The West should have let the two countries find a peace deal over a year ago but that isn't good enough for Biden.

I apologise for my lack of research but the gist of my post is still valid.
