Naturally I have no idea if the stories are true about the deal being off due us failing to pay up such a small extra amount. However, it would make a lot of sense if our rivals were also interested in him. Regardless of whether we're talking 6m or 8m, that's still very cheap by modern day PL comparisons. And if he is good enough for us, then he is also good enough for the likes of Forest and Everton.

To be honest, I'd have been scratching my head if we'd been left with a free shot at signing him at such a low figure. Unless he's wanting ridiculous wages (which I'm not aware he is).
 
He’s 5’10 so hopefully he can at least challenge the defender when they beat him in the air

Yes but Edozie is still very young and raw. We can't rely on him to dig us out of the mess we're in, nor would it be fair to. Orsic's experience and quality will be a big asset. Assuming Jones ditches 3 at the back and hoofball.
