It's felt well thought through and it's working a treat so far. The ticket prices are fantastic too and seeing so many kids is great

Who were the ones on here moaning about it?

Think it was the ‘lairy cornflake’ DLT who was leading the charge against it, along with his henchman, Askew.

I was certainly vociferous in my objections previously when it was proven to be ill conceived and driven by the wrong people for the wrong reasons, but there are massive differences between then and now.

Who's to say it wouldn't be even better if we were still in E1 to E3 encouraging even more to join in and with room for expansion.:emoticon-0105-wink:

I think you’d have to give it longer than two games anyway to properly take stock, but seems to be working thus.

But deffo, the people who were forcibly moved have every right to feel ****ed off.

The whole problem is down to one thing - the stadium was badly designed. As it stands there is no chance of giving the 2,000 under EFL rules, 3,000 or the higher amounts for Cup games and not losing a load of seats for segregation because no thoughts were given to these things and nothing matches up at the North End of the stadium. You cpould move away fans right up to the home fans in East Stand which would mean City could have nearly all the North Stand if these things had been taken into consideration. It is almost as no one thought City would have success and all that mattered was rugby fans mixing on the concourses in their family friendly sport.

Does anyone know what the next steps will be when ticket demand increases? Will they re-open E1 & E2, or the Upper West? I don’t see the logic in not allowing fans in E1 and E2. I suspect I’m missing something though?

The SAG and Humberside Police.

Just move them from north into E1 to E3 and a bit more of the north east corner. <ok>

I moved from E4 into N2 for this season, and as well as saving a tenner a month the atmosphere is miles better…it feels like an away end.

It does help when you’re winning games admittedly, but still….

North Stand quickly becoming the new East and THE place to be for jovial banter..

The dormant Scarfers will eventually decide to sit elsewhere.

Allam’s GONE.

‘it feels like an away end’

Nice analogy that and agree.

By comparison, 2k away fans from Norwich were remarkably poor. Dead quiet all game - only recall hearing them for a few mins after their goal, and that was it.

I sit in the west and 2 of the turnstiles are reserved for members ie not day trippers.
Is this the same elsewhere?
Problem is that there is only a small A4 sign and people get turned away at the actual gate to join the other queues.
Major unrest.
Does this happen elsewhere?

I think that it seems to have been an inspired decision judging by the atmosphere on Saturday. However, I’m in E7 and haven’t had to move seats so easy for me to say.
