I don't read any of their output, as its just individuals who have a platform to spout their view . I can come on here and get better informed .

WTF is very good tbf, he seems to be the most level headed of them all.
He does it like a fan - it's less polished than WMS (and I mean no disrespect when I say that) - and you can sense the emotion. I quite like the fact he didn't do a couple of reaction pods when we lost because he was so pissed off. That's proper fan behaviour.

WMS is more professional, but one of them sends me to sleep with his presenting style

dont listen to any podcasts or similar rubbish...most if not all are simply a platform for some one who thinks thier opinion is more important than anyone elses so they need a bigger audience than just a normal chat room.

"Let's all stick together" ...

... but not before we've had a moan about new contracts for Gooch etc, the lack of new signings, Portugal, the club shop, the new strip, the negative talk about the ownership issues despite the fact that we're partly responsible for that <doh>

"And likewise, when it comes to ticketing - it feels like after an initial push following the playoffs, we’ve barely promoted the sale of season cards across the club’s social media channels.

With that in mind, it’s time to get aggressive, it’s time to get creative and it’s time to really drive up the hype around next season - we need as many supporters in that ground next season as we can get. Admittedly, it’s not always an easy sell to casual supporters when you’ve got negative vibes around potential new owners floating about."

I wonder who'd be the first to moan if the club were trying to push SC sales with 'creative marketing'. It'd be, 'Ah yes, this is Methven pulling the strings and conning the supporters again, this stinks!'

FFS we've sold over 28,000, what do they want the club to do ... seriously.

Here's an idea. Stop whinging about every aspect of the club, posting nonsense about 'Crypto takeovers' and accept that all this negativity might actually put off the 'casual supporter' thinking about committing to a SC.

I find it mind boggling mate. After years of a downward spiral we are on the up again. There is loads to be positive about, not to mention some great memories of last month. I honestly think we are in a fantastic position to push on. An upbeat article, focussing on all our upsides, would be much more likely to encourage fans to buy tickets and add to our current momentum...

Any 'casual supporter' reading that would think we're a club in crisis ...

... and may be what persuades them not to buy a SC.

I’m not in the know but I go by my gut feelings, and I think this coming season is going to be fantastic - not by getting promoted (I think that may be the season after) but by wonderful things happening within the club. Don’t ask me “what things” - I don’t know, I just feel it! For the fist time in years I’ve got an excited feeling in my gut. Or it could just be the fish I had for dinner.

The return of the 5 sub rule, and now, having a manager in place with the know-how to use it, excites me, cant wait .
Agree 100% on this. A good coach will now be able to influence the 90 minutes much more than in the past. I hope we start seeing first half changes as a result, that will be the mark of a proactive coach.

Christ I hope not! First half changes to me means he got his starting 11 wrong, and it must be demoralising for the player ( and team somewhat) no thanks.

Not necessarily. You can get your starting 11 right but the opposition do something unexpected and the players on the pitch arent the right ones to adapt. A player can have a nightmare 30 minutes and need taking out for the good of the team. A coach, in my opinion, is asleep at the wheel if he doesnt change those things with the ability to make 5 subs.
