There’s a video circulating that shows just how many times that Salah ignored others in better positions, particularly Diaz. I’m all for a bit of selfishness from strikers but not at the expense of the result….I imagine Klopp will have words, I’m even more frustrated now <laugh>

3 goals in his last 18 appearances

Yes but Diaz and Mane also do the same. In fact, most players often make the wrong decision.

Yes, Mo can make the wrong choice but he also has the most assists in the league, and most key passes and big chances created in our team. He is still our best goal scorer and best creator. In fact, as of 1st May, he had created 23 big chances - to add some context, Mane, Bobby, Diaz and Jota have created 26 between them (in all competitions)!

Probably feeling the pressure from his recent goal drought and wants to be back on the tally and ignoring what he knows to be right.

He actually hasn't been that selfish of late. He just needs new shooting boots.

I think he's been poor and should have been rested. Whether it's tiredness or his mind is elsewhere, I don't know, but clearly in need of a break. Too late now though

This is the thing - he needs a proper break ie 2-3 week break. Which we can’t give him until after the CL final.

we just have to hope he finds the magic touch quickly

I’m surprised so many players have stayed fit tbh….I’d have expected a few muscle injuries like Fab’s by now…

It's why we're still "theoretically" competing for the quad still. If we had had more injuries the fairy tale would be over by now.
