They will line up in a 3-4-3 / 5-3-2 formation almost irrespective of who is available . Romero is the linchpin of their defence but is also liable to pick up at least a yellow as he prone to not just getting the ball but the man as well . Since just to make the late KO for this game seem even more irritating we have Villareal before and Villa on the following Tuesday therefore i make no predictions for the starting 11 apart from Allison in goal and Henderson in MF - oh and the observation that the focus seems to be on the CL considering recent line ups . PL 25-7-2 CL 9-0-0 FAC 5-0-0 LC 5-0-0 - W
Should be a brilliant atmosphere. Evening games always are, and after tonight’s game, place should be rocking.
Klopp spoke very highly of Kane and Son on German TV after the match tonight and called Spurs probably the best team on the counter attack in the world.
Yup. The rest of the team is **** but it only takes one ball over top to put son in on goal so I think at least a brace for son here.
We have a full week off after this so no need to go nuts with rotation but we also need everyone up to speed. Matip back in makes sense, rest Thiago makes sense.
the biggest gap we have is 6 days and that comes after the end of the domestic season but prior to the CL final . Spurs 7/5 Villa 10/5 Chelsea 14/5 (FAC) Saints 17/5 Wolves 22/5 then CL final on the 28/5
