Weekly training includes all aspects of the game including 30 minutes of repetitive intense matchplay scenarios, bespoke to particular players needs, and instructions related to the opposition etc.
We have a top recruitment team, and we have an A1 state of the art training model in place at the moment….do you think SAFC are not fully aware of Defoe’s current fitness capacity?
Do you really think that if we sign Defoe that he will NOT be fit enough to feature this season?
Defoe will be up to speed ASAP for whatever role that LJ wants him to play….Even if it means him coming on as an impact sub in some games.

Not like Defoe has been sitting chewing takeaways and playing Xbox.

No, I'm not. Anybody who has played at any level will tell you there's a world of difference between being fit and match fit.
Hume untested and Huggins long term injury. Must be a decent RB around, early 30s who the young lads could learn from.

I may well be alone in this but I’m worried about the keeper situation.
I’d prefer that we got a decent cover in for Hoffman and send Patterson back out on loan.
Need cover at CF, mobile and physical CDM and LB.
