Just received this message, from a friend, when he made enquiries after the Harrogate fiasco. "All train tickets that are purchased and plans change (Harrogate for example) can be refunded in full by way of an e-voucher as long as you cancel the ticket not later than 18:00 hours the day before the journey. Hopefully this will help us all in getting cheap train tickets for away games." " Just to add to that that rule is in place until 31/12/21"
My mate Paul just sent this and is usually pretty accurate ticket/allocation wise. Anyone thinking of going to these games needs to be on their toes. I can see us having a severely reduced allocation at Wigan. Clubs that this will apply to in our league are: Sunderland - yes Ipswich - yes Portsmouth - yes Bolton - yes Wigan - based on previous attendances this season 50/50 so they may decide to restrict capacity to 9,999 Accrington - no Fleetwood - no Doncaster - based on previous attendances this season 50/50 so they may decide to restrict capacity to 9,999 Charlton - yes Burton - no Plymouth - yes Shrewsbury - no Crewe - based on previous attendances this season 50/50 so they may decide to restrict capacity to 9,999 Cambridge - no Rotherham - yes MK Dons - based on previous attendances this season 50/50 so they may decide to restrict capacity to 9,999 Wycombe - no Oxford - based on previous attendances this season 50/50 so they may decide to restrict capacity to 9,999 Sheffield Wednesday - yes Cheltenham - no Wimbledon - no Lincoln - based on previous attendances this season 50/50 so they may decide to restrict capacity to 9,999 Morecambe - no Gillingham - based on previous attendances this season 50/50 so they may decide to restrict capacity to 9,999
I know people's health is more important than money but ffs man. I've just bought tickets for Arsenal, Ipswich and Donny. I've booked two hotel rooms, taken two days off work and turned down an invitation to a party that will never happen again. (It's at the home of someone famous, I only got the invite through a mate on their staff, the hosts know know me from Lee Howey's brother.) I'm at the point whereby I'm starting to wonder if it's worth cheering our goals in case they void the f**k**g season and it's all for nowt.
I'm sick of it all. The ****ers ask us to get jabbed and we do it while they party behind closed doors. Can't believe the bloke is still in charge the utter clown. No way is he canceling my Christmas, he can **** right off.
If you're laughing at decent people, behind their backs, you should at least have enough respect to hide it. These people are laughing in our faces and expecting us to share the joke. I've never been so despondent about the state of our parliament and I've seen some poor states.
My rage has intensified tonight - Johnson had the ****ing gall to end his Press Conference saying "I follow the rules...." then I hear word from Canada that they are advising Canadians not to leave the country, throwing my Xmas plans down the ****ing toilet. **** covid, **** Johnson and **** that scaremongering **** Whitty
Nah! Makes no difference mate. We’re Sunderland, way up in darkest Tyne & Wear. Even if we were top with 10 point advantage they’d find some way to shaft us. I think I may be becoming paranoid, but after the way Durham cricket club was treated and Sunderland and South Shields last season I have zero faith in the southern based mafia. (Er… my apologies to the cosa Nostra mafia Didn’t mean to insult you lads!)

I hope they keep the stadiums open. Getting back to the match was a major plus point mentally for me. Went for my booster the other day so even if they reduce it to people with 3 jabs or a negative test for the rest of the season that would do me.
Agree. This season has been brilliant and what is noticeable is that the people around me all start chatting with each other before/during the game whereas before we all sat quietly. There's been a real community spirit amongst us this season and that has to be a result of us missing 18 months of it I HOPE they keep things going, the boosters should stop this thing getting too bad but it wouldn't surprise me if we saw a circuit break in Jan, or even in teh last week of Dec to try and stem the cases.
