Small fine was dished out I think. Embarrassing stuff tbh and a drop in the ocean compared to what they threatened to do. **** them I say, make them forefit the games.
Should have said to them all can't win the league this year as clearly it means **** all to you and deducted enough points to put them in bottom half of league.
It definitely should have been points, the paltry fines mean **** all when you are owned by a Country
Well that is also another issue with financial fair play, what do you get as a punishment for spending outside the rules? A fine! Well that must be devastating and clearly is leveling things!
Unless your outside the PL (like Derby) then you get loads of points taken off you. The balance of power is so far skewed to the big clubs it's embarrassing. I really hope Abramovich and the sheik at City get bored and **** off.
Yeah, the Premier league have an excuse with that though as they are separate to the football league !
...and just like that, teams that are losing players to the african cup 'suddenly' also have covid problems!!!
Taking the piss these ****ers aren't they? https://www.skysports.com/football/...arets-squad-struck-down-by-covid-and-injuries
Ridiculous. Look at Leeds on Sunday. Barely able to field a team, a sixteen year old on the bench, two injuries in the first Half hour , and they pretty well overwhelmed West Ham. They wanted to play. I'll say again, that this " don't fancy playing" lark will come back to bite them all. Which broadcaster will now pay what they might have done in the past, when now, the product they pay for is arbitrarily withdrawn, without proper explanation, at the most damaging time for the broadcaster, and seemingly at the whim of a club? They are in for an uncomfortable shock .
