Mbappe is a **** head.
Perhaps, but it would make Greez happy and we'd finally stop hearing him beg to get him... So it's in our best interest he comes.

From inside PSG:
‘dites à vos amis stupides que Mo Salah jouera à Paris en janvier et que les propriétaires du PSG ont approuvé un accord d'échange avec un grand jeu supplémentaire au LFC.’
We will be able to say with better clarity five years from now...
Honestly seeing the wage demands and worrying about how that might damage the club in the future if it dominoes to other players demanding more money, so we can no longer afford transfers- I would forgive FSG for selling. Don't want to see him go, but it would be forgivable assuming we get a boat load of money for him.
Mbappe's wages are as bad or worse concern as Salah's. That said, ignore money. Salah is very much a player for today... He's getting old, incredibly fit still, but for how many more years?
Mbappe potentially has more years in the future ahead of him. So probably could be more sensible long-term... If he stayed and didn't bugger off to Madrid in a few years.
Forgetting money though, forgetting age... I'd take Salah. Besides, Mbappe would probably end up moving due to restlessness before Salah hangs up his boots anyway.

He eventually forgot about neymadge. I imagine he will forget hmmbop fairly quick and move onto the next one
If the buck stopped with Salah it might be worthwhile to cave into his demands... But I'm actually worried if we give Salah what he wants there will be players like Mané, Firmino,TAA, Virgil who all say... "OK, I'm not Salah, but I'm important too! If Salah gets 400k, surely I'm worth at least 325k".
Yes it is but there you go.
If we are selling we want the max price and now is the time. Not a queue of clubs though so the price wont be coutinho levels of eye watering.
The lad is 29 but bullet proof, never gets injured and is dedicated as hell but put another 4 years on him and no matter how great he might not be physically up.to it and a burden by the end.
It's about how do you get the next one in cos we sure as hell have nothing within a country mile of his ability, attitude and work.
Thing is 30 now isn’t the same as 30 in the 90s. He’s Muslim so I’d imagine he doesn’t touch alcohol, probably eats brilliant and looks in fantastic shape. Guys got better as the years gone on so no reason he can’t perform for next 4 years. think I heard he has missed 7 prem games since joining us
his game will probably have to change. He might not always be a wide player, maybe will drift inside more, but being an left footer on the right doesn’t always use pure pace as it’s his little movements in that get him the space.
Look at Ronaldo, scoring goals at 36 and in as good shape now as has been.
Exactly................Even if he did, it would be for BIG money

Said this weeks ago when we last had this discussion. It's all very well saying he's so good just give him what he wants, but FSG will be wary of the domino effect and that's why I think a deal is far from certain. If the buck stopped with Salah it might be worthwhile to cave into his demands... I happy to let Salah goWe will be able to say with better clarity five years from now...

You don't think others will start to demand more? It's not about what the club gives them, it's about what they want and what it does to their attitude if they're in a constant battle over wages. It can cause tension and unrest within the group and it's the complete antithesis of Klopp's dressing-room philosophy.Just coz Salah gets a big contract it doesn't mean all the rest should follow suit such as Mane. The only players I would be happy to be treated on par with Salah would be VVD and possibly Fabinho.![]()
Agreed. Very, very trickyYou don't think others will start to demand more? Of course that might not happen, but if it does then the repercussions are much more far-reaching than retaining the services of one player for the next few years, no matter how good he is.
It's a gamble either way, it's not a straightforward decision by any means, imo.

tI think the only other person in the squad who could command anywhere near what Mo wants is VVD. We are paying some great wages to our top performers but there has to be another tier for the God Like players. Mo and VVD are in that tier.
