Not only is the bloke earning a fortune but he’s also restricting what the club can do elsewhere. If he isn’t putting it in leave him off the bench and restrict his appearance fees and get his disrespect away from the first team. It must be frustrating for the lesser paid and the kids on the fringes to see him drifting around half arsed and still getting a game but happy to pick up his money. Yes it is the clubs fault he is paid so much but at the very least he should try and earn it. Absolute ****er.
Turning into another rodwell, get shot.

Grigg has got to be one of the worst transfers we've made. Reading Lee Johnson's interview this morning he's pretty much said he's not giving 2 fks in training. He said he's made it clear he wants to be back near the midlands close to his family. Just shows how bad our recruitment was spending a fortune on a player that never wanted to be here. If the player doesn't want to be here then just fk them off. Don't buy the 'he wants to do well at sunderland' or ' he just needs a run of games and goals', he doesn't want to be here. LJ's comments pretty much confirm that. Hope we can shift him before deadline.

When we got him I generally thought we would go up, highest goalscoring striker in league 1, biggest waste of a shirt I think we've had, Rodwell was the same but at least it was prem player at the time, grigg is a bog standard league 1 player, who will never play for a bigger club,

Another in a long line of players that weren't up to playing for a big club and were just looking at the money on offer. He probably couldn't believe what we had offered him

He's a cancer that needs cutting out.

Kinda confirms what most of us thought, Grigg doesn't and I doubt ever has wanted to be here.

He doesn't have the stones to play for SAFC for me, mentally crumbled early on and has been the same since.

I don't think he is the only one where the club was too big for them mentally - the other players have been offloaded

Reactions: Makemstine Roger
... and another from the PL <party>

Bloody hell, another PL defender who can use both feet and will fit right into our profile ...

... it's all getting mad this.

Edit: Danish lad who West Ham put on a long contract.

"Alves has described his playing style as "a defender who likes to play with the ball at my feet, but I also like defending and am good in my duels", drawing inspiration from German international defender Jérôme Boateng. The Athletic has praised Alves' versatility, owing to his ability to use both feet and being able to operate at right-back."
