Leeds - they replaced him before he left and he spent a while as understudy

Burnley - was fourth choice for ages behind Hart and Heaton. Barely made bench.

plus you can just ask pretty much anybody who has watched him regularly. Obviously I’m not one of them but I’ve spoken to enough people that watched him at Leeds

He's broke into his national team and he's behind Nick Pope at Burnley. He was the first team goalkeeper at Leeds when he signed for Burnley.

Which clubs has he dropped down the pecking order at?
He wasnt first choice when he left Leeds

He lost his place to Real Madrid legend Kiko Casillas. Burnley are a premier league club, no shame being behind them goalkeepers you have listed.

He's still only 24 and he played 8 first team games for Burnley, last season. That seems like he's progressing, to me.

Yeah, I stand corrected on that. He lost his place to Casillas when he come over from Real Madrid.

Mixing up Kiko Casilla with Iker Casillas there lads.

Casilla came through their academy but was never more than back up, Casillas on the other hand was their number one for the best part of 15 years before moving on to Porto. Had some form of heart scare and retired a couple of years back I believe.

There isnt enough space on this site to list the ones I have on ignore, my most recent was some cretin named Bart45 (I think) I called him Broth heed, and he started using "special" as an insult, mods did nothing and I got some kind of points thing, used to be a great site, too many wums and **** mods

Theres one on there, Bradford Pete, who never comments on football, he's a Mag so that's understandable ...

Casilla was signed for a fortune from Espanyol, not their academy, he was released from their academy in his youth I think.

He was ****e though and never got past Navas at Real.

I'm surprised but I suppose people dont work weekends ...

... or perhaps they're wanting to do a block announcement <laugh>
I was expecting at least the full list of squad numbers to be announced. New away strip on sale tomorrow and people may want the names/numbers on. I'm confident in them getting it right on the pitch before the window closes but they are royally ****ing things up off the pitch with the entrance shambles on Friday, nee ticket office open, nee club shop open, delayed new season cards for new fans, no information on any sort of fanzone/pre match for next week etc. People are making plans for the game and they are going to miss out on revenue due to a horrific lack of comms and planning imo.

I'd like us to field very young teams in the Carabao and Papa John's trophy this season and see how we get on. An early-ish exit in either wouldnt bother me at all tbh.

Aye I was keen for us to win the Papa John's but now the trophy drought is over I'm really not fussed if we get knocked out in the first round. League all important.
