Definitely a promising start to the window.
From everything I've read, he very much fits what Ralph likes in a fullback. With KWP, he often isn't providing width, he's playing narrow in and around the box and playing more short passes than crosses. Sounds like Perraud has similar tendencies.

I was thinking the same - left sided, bigger/stronger (but not much, in fairness) version of KWP.
Sounds like Agent Diallo worked his magic.

I wonder at times whether some of our attacking players are right for the way Ralph wants to play (at least in situations where the defense is set), which involves overloading areas and working short passes, but we now have the fullbacks/strikers to make it work. Someone in attacking midfield with the nous to play the ball through the lines wouldn't hurt though, to prevent that overload from turning into congestion.
