Yes we were out and probably about 40% of our road was out as well
Nice surprise there was a big noise on my road from people clapping n cheering and the odd firework, so many got the message. God bless our NHS 
Good response around us, wife in tears with shouts from my neighbour. She’s back in tomorrow for a few days and not looking forward to it at all.

Bored now. Just been turned down from that NHS volunteer scheme - they’ve got enough gynaecologists apparently. . Just waiting to hear back from the breast clinic now !

We had a clap and I was pleasantly surprised by the turnout! I just want to reiterate everything everyone else has said - Nev, pass our best wishes to your Wife and colleagues from us 
Hopefully this will wake all parties on how important health is before wealth but give it a few months after the all clear and it’ll be business as usual for those that have and sorrow and rightly so recriminations against those that deserve it.Lessons learnt we'll see
Well, the wife has just come home exhausted and mentally drained. To put this into context, Southampton ITU is now full with Covid-19 patients all on respirators, ignore the age thing and underlying health conditions, they have fit and healthy people in and they are all ages.
The paediatric ITU is being commandeered today with that then being an extension to the unit. More wards are being converted ready for the influx. They have all been briefed that possibly next week, they will be looking after three ventilated patients each, and this is a unit where the staff to patient is one to one.
This is a global killer, be safe everyone.
