I said, at the time, that the Consett talk in would be a PR disaster.

Donald, smirking and hinting about the club's future in a Blackhill club, looks absolutely hideous now.
This takeover (please) should have been unheard of until done
Is that really any way to attract the multi-millions we need ffs.

Seriously, Donald is running out of credibility and goodwill ...

... I've no idea how he can reverse this tbh.

The away end at Wycombe may not be the most pleasant place on Saturday.

Apart from bad communication in the last few weeks, I don't see what SD has done wrong.

He's pre-emptively sacked a manager a growing number of fans wanted gone, before we found ourselves too badly off. A perfectly understandable decision given the last few league results. Hard to have a new manager ready to go, when the sacking wasn't a planned one. It was the Lincoln result that prompted the sacking imo, totally unexpected. Beat Lincoln and the table would have looked completely different.

I know I was backing Ross to turn it around. The Lincoln result changed everything.

Takeover. Well I've already stated my thoughts on that.

Got to agree.

Whilst I refuse point blank (for now) to accept he’s taken money out of the club, what’s becoming evident is he has no forward plan and it’s getting more and more unpredictable.

Forget everything to do with the takeover, the key ingredient is what’s happening on the park, and whilst I agree removing Ross was the correct choice, removing him having not already had a man plus a fall back in mind is an absolute disaster, we are going into Saturday unprepared, and we can’t afford to be dropping many more points.

The only way that’s smoothed over is if we did indeed appoint Stendel, a curveball that we would never have expected to be available. That then would justify some time to review.

Facts are, it doesn’t look like that’s happening and the men at the top are getting the look of a couple of kids trying to navigate a cruise ship with a set of canoe paddles.

There’s little sign of leadership, and even less that we have learned from the previous years on end of mismanagement and **** judgement.

**** me we need a performance and a win at the weekend or it’s gonna be like the scene in Ghostbusters when the dickhead powers down the storage unit.

This managerial appointment is his first big challenge, he has to de decisive and get it right.
Nail firmly on head <applause><applause>

Stewies comments, nods and winks at the Consett talkin seem to be ring a tadge hollow now...Gulibilty has never been a trait that Sunderland Supporters would take kindly too stewie..

Great post marra

What made you agree with the lad who said he was taking training yesterday?

I think I mentioned it earlier mate.

I'd already posted that I'd been told he was Donald's choice and would be prepared to have a renewable contract until the summer. On the morning of this OP I woke up to a message, from a well known and respected poster, to say he'd been seen at the AOL. I checked and they said it was right and that Donald was, at that point, at the AOL. I subsequently received pm's from the OP which seemed to confirm everything I'd been told.

It may transpire that it was all correct but as things stand I, and people who posted the same thing on here and RTG, got it wrong.

I'm flooded with all kinds of texts, pm's etc and it's difficult to keep track.

That's not an excuse, I've already held my hands up with this one.

It will be toxic

I hope we hear something this afternoon, if not I think it's a clear sign things aren't going to plan or someone is available that was never on the radar.

That's cheered me up no end.....

He's the most underwhelming candidate.....

Now go and get Stendel in Donald....
I truly believe coton and hill dont want and dont rate stendel.
His teams play proper modern football. This is anathema to those 2 dinosaurs and he would be undoing the cost little number that donald has given them
It wont happen while coton and hill have Donald's ear sadly imo

Joe Kinnear, pulis, paul once, oh I know alan curbishley

No way would Pearson get on with coton and hill
Trump has more chance of getting a blowie from ocasio cortez

Again, based on what?

How the **** do you know which manager Hill or Cotton may or may not like?
Funny how you think they won't like any of the managers the majority of fans may like, but like the ones they don't. You're bloody good at winding people up about the current club execs, I'll give you that.
You didn't like Ross, you're now setting people up against SD, and if that wasn't enough, it's Cotton and Hill in your sights now.

Is there anything SAFC that you do like?
