We certainly struggled to get any passes together. Whether that was down to his absence is debatable but I'm sure Adkins would have liked to be able to play him.

As for paternity leave, I completely support him having the right to it if he wants it. But it seems a bit strange that he'd want to take it. It's not like he'd be working 9-5 as a footballer, you'd imagine he could train and play and still spend 20 hours a day at home if he wants.

if I understood comments on RH - he's in Norway still and flies back tmw

Not that strange. If he's doing the nights/feeding the kid, then he'd be ****ed

Personal database? I'm not a ****ing laptop. Burke's done alright, well is a bit generous and impressive suggests you are easily pleased. He was skinned numerous times today and against the previous teams. He's a great defender, but he isn't a RB. Lichaj I can sort of understand as he can play both sides relatively easily, but it's glaringly obvious that Burke is a centre half, you can tell by his end product.

Burke's crossing is very good, you're overanalyzing to try and justify your predetermined conclusion he can't play right back. Football isn't black and white and players don't just have a predefined list of positions they can and can't play.

I never suggested it was, in fact I mentioned that Lichaj can play both sides with ease. You assume to much. There's nothing predetermined about it, we're playing a centre half as a RB when we have two RB's in the squad anyway. He hasn't done badly, but from the evidence I've seen (that would be all the games he's played at RB, by the way, I'm not basing this on today), he's best placed as a CB. We'll see how he copes with Murphy and Stiepermann on Tuesday night.

If you've watched all those games and decided he can't play right back then you've not been watching very closely.

Well, from what I have read we were way off the pace, Wijs confidence is shot and needs taking out of the team to get his confidence back, reminds me a bit of Hector last season. It just doesn't seem to be working for Martin at the moment, he has scored goal regularly at this level why aren't we getting the best out of him?

It sounds as if Karanka sussed Bowen out, it isn't rocket science, just keep him from turning inside onto his left foot, Forest did that effectively.

This take over can't come quickly enough now, we just don't have a good enough group of plays, the bench yesterday proved that.

We were ****

However...what the **** was going on with all the sniffer dogs?

What were they sniffing out? Bombs? Drugs? Swear words?

Didn’t stop me sneaking one of the ****ers in any way, the little canine ****s

It sounds as if animals and wildlife are becoming more entertaining than football. A couple of fans yesterday twitted by saying they were getting more enjoyment in watching a Kestral ripping a pidgeon to bits, and now dog being brought into the mix. It really is starting to sound like a circus.

Burke has been impressive at right back recently and that exact back four has been our go-to for several games. They might have different 'correct' positions on your personal database but that's irrelevant because they've been playing well there in real life.

Burke looks every bit a centre back playing at right back.

I don't think JDW's confidence is shot. He looks a confident, assured lad, and the rest of his game is good. He's just liable to the odd error now and again (Zayatte? Turner in his early days? SPMcS?).
Totally agree with the rest, especially all of the last sentence.

They (E-jizz) were fearing a protest by PETA to rename the Tigers to the Mighty Tofus (might attract one of those far east markets though ...)

It’s already a circus (but I know you neatly set that one up for me)
The kestrel update is useful though, me and Askew even found just the flurry of feathers more entertaining than the football and did have a discussion about whether a kestrel had got a pigeon. Nice to know our in-match analysis was accurate about something at least!
