The wonderful Daily Star have decided to run bits of an interview with Paul Gascoigne, including this...

"It's player power now, if the money is right and Tottenham want to sell him, they will do. If a team comes in with £100m for Harry Kane, I don't think Spurs will turn it down."

Is this really necessary? It's pretty obvious that he's fragile and not on top of things. What's the ****ing point, apart from drawing more attention to that and raking in a few pounds by doing so? Appalling.

That's funny, I think we will - mainly because, if Coutinho's worth £142m, selling Kane for significantly less than that is bad business

The article, as Brian says, mainly shows up Gazza for the damaged person he is. Let's face it we don't love him for his business acumen, probably thinks £100m is the top price for a player. But I agree with Brian, it is unnecessary to air daft views like this.

It's despicable and totally unnecessary. There's nothing in this other than showing up someone who is in no position to defend himself and really doesn't understand the issues. Maybe the people responsible for this enjoy taking the piss out of those suffering from dementia?

Like most of the stuff on TV these days, it's all about exploiting the vulnerable. Anyone want to go back to visiting Bethlem? It won't be long before it's televised.

Wasn't the last bloke that stupid Arsenal supporter with the ring through his nose? The one we never saw again after he said it?

To be too stupid for Arsenal FanTV is the ultimate insult.

Oh, we've definitely seen him since he said that:

The cameras pick that twat out every time Kane scores against them, which is pretty often.
