The muppet speaks.
Once again he speaks of players returning from injury. He believes the saying,”it’ll be like having a new signing,” will be the equivalent to a fully fit new signing!

we don't sign fully fit new signings - they've usually got something wrong with them - its like going into an antique shop and saving money by buying something with a crack and a chip

I’d be very surprised if we’d put double relegation clauses into anyone’s deal signed before this season. That’d be some serious good foresight.
It doesn't matter if we go down once or 3 yrs in a row....a relegation clause is a relegation clause, if we go down again this season then so will the players wages who have said clauses.

lol I was wondering that myself, in terms of how it would account for more than one relegation. I just don't think that's the case personally. Prem to Chump yes, but beyond that? How exactly do you think a relegation clause is worded on a legal document such as an employment contract? Do you think it simply says “if we get relegated, your salary is cut by 50%’?

Why?That relegation clause will only apply to relegation from the Premier League.

Why?That was my point... the wording will have to be so specific regarding a formal cut in salary. One clause 100% will not cover every time we are relegated, despite Howden’s claim. I don’t know what their normal posts are like but this is stunning!
The chances of Ehab thinking ahead and including a second or third clause for subsequent relegations are so remote I’ll confidently say that they don’t exist.
They don't, or atleast the ones friends of mine have had in their contracts didnt....it was a very simple promotion = xyz % raise and relegation = xyz % decrease it wasn't league specific..... It was admittedly a few years ago and teams in league 1/2 so things could be different

Hernandez facing a second drop in his salary would certainly focus his mind. if that is indeed the case.
YepIsn't he out of contract at the end of the season and therefore will be leaving?
That’s what I doCould someone copy and paste tweets as not all of us get to read whats on them.
Thanks in advance
