It's painful but that's what they're going to do.
They aren't putting the money in anymore if the club has to be self sustaining then we won't pay the wages we've done in the past.
Signings take time. First they have to take Sterling on. Then he needs to do some scouting. Finally, the lad's parents need to be convinced that £50pw is a lot of money and he won't get better elsewhere.
I wouldn’t offer him a deal. I’d only bother with Moses and Meyler, plus a tokenistic one to Abel that he’ll never ****ing sign cos he’ll be leaving no matter what.

He'll have to accept the best he's offered, which won't be PL money.
You always want these contracts to be about greedy players because that way there's nothing more the Allams could have done. Every other club seems to manage and not lose 5-6 of their most dependable first team players every season. We're consistently losing the very ones you don't want to lose in our position. Meyler and Dawson going will be an enormous blow. After that there really isn't much left of what made this team successful. Just nobodies from big clubs who think they're too good for us.

They should have done far more to highlight and challenge what was going on with the Allams.
No sympathy whatsoever.
Or spent the time pestering their owner to make their website one that one would consider visiting (as opposed to one to be avoided at all costs).
