    Not sure who called the meeting, there could be a host of reasons why they are wanting to improve relationships, has to be because they want something in their favour that is for sure.

    It'll be all to do with getting planning permission for the Rosedown building. They only agree to meetings when they know they're going to be the main beneficiaries.

    1 Council pissed off with Allams
    2 Allams want planning permission for Rosedowns
    3 Allams have no negotiating clout so they develop situation to give them some clout
    4 Allams decide to put up gate and take down Council signs
    5 Council ask Allams remove gate and put back signs
    6 Allams agree if they obtain planning permission for Rosedowns

    I hope the Council tell them to **** right off - the Allams only negotiate by 'threat' - they mustn't let them succeed
