While I fully accept that Sluts has been dealt a rubbish hand by the ****wit Ehab .. I can't help doubt his ability to get the most from this assembly of players .. his tactics seem to change every game .. his organisational skills seem to be lacking ... he is constantly having to change things at half time due to his poor starting selection and tactics .. he is reacting to other teams performances too late .. I wonder if he gets scouting reports of opposing teams at times. Yes he is a lovely jovial bloke but performances of late are suggesting to me the players are getting confused about what he expects them to do .. I just don't see this lasting long .. for someone who has a big reputation in Russia I do feel he lacks tactical awareness .. it seems from the outside he is desperate to want to be loved by all but ALL successful managers have a ruthless side .. I'm not certain Sluts has this in his locker .. the sad thing is I just don't think there is anyone out there that the club could hoodwink into coming here .. it is well documented how shambolicly the club is being run by the present incombants .. no manager with half a decent track record would touch us with a barge pole.

Are there three worst teams than us?...Bolton, plus another one, plus Sunderland, though I suspect they'll do their usual Houdini act around December/ January.
That leaves two spaces to fill. I wouldn't bet on one of those not been us.

It's not as simple as just having internationals though. There has to be balance and most importantly at this level you need men as well as just fancy footballers. Bowen is getting all these goals through a **** load of effort mainly. We don't have enough, particularly in defence, along those lines. Like you've said before there's too many soft lads who think they're doing us a favour by being here but can't win a tackle. This is where you need people like McShane, Rosenior, Bruce, Quinn but we ****ed them all off for no reason. It took years to build that squad we had full of players who were 7/10 or above every week. We used to never lose by more than 2 or 3 nil even in the PL. Then we started dismantling the squad and here we are.

As someone pointed out to me last night....he's got zero back-up, no coaches, plus from the look of things no plan B, and after 9 games, no clue about the quality of the Championship. After all its probably the fifth or sixth best league in the world.

I feel that Leo had the rug completely pulled from underneath him from the very first day. His body language said it over the first few weeks he looked totally pissed off. Whether he was good enough or not he never stood a ****ing chance. working for these twats is like digging a hole in water. Total ****s.

ALLAMS OUT. Can't happen quick enough either.

Yes. Players maybe not but they have better squads. They have continuity, chemistry, and understanding. Our players do not. Yet.

I’m hoping Ehab is ****ting himself at the prospect of relegation! He should have sold when he had the chance! And if we go down it’ll ease the pain for me knowing them 2 greedy bastards have lost money! #allamsout

As I said in my original post, he reminds me of Parkinson when he came from Colchester!
If Slutsky feels he’s been treated unfairly, he should walk before he is pushed.
Staying & getting bad results isn’t going to help him get a better jobs, if he walks he at least has a chance!
McLaren was the only one I who allegedly wanted it before

That's a fair point Chaz that we should be comparing this team to the PNE one.

However, how long has Clark had to coach his team to do that job? They brought in 5 over the summer (and shipped out 4) all done in July!

Of the incommings only two started last night. It's a settled team. We're a bunch of strangers it seems.

Bruce was our most successful manager by far and he was given time to build and rebuild his teams.

Slutsky has managerd at the very highest level. He knows his onions but this will be a transition season at best.

I do think Slutsky could make a good manager, I can see how he's trying to set us up, but our defence is horrific. A combination of bad organisation and some piss poor individuals who don't work together. I'd like to see the Allams out and Slutsky get another year backed to bring in some proper players. Currently out of our four/five man defence there is only one actual defender in there.

We don't look bad at moving the ball around and always look capable of scoring, that is a good sign.

No. A majority of concerned HCAFC fans, determined to voice their opinions in the hope it registers upstairs, which I sincerely doubt.

Calling Preston a bunch of journeyman is a bit harsh, they have had two decent seasons in the Championship finishing in the top half. They haven't just decimated their squad they have added 4/5 players in positions they knew they needed to improve. That's how you build a squad.

You don't sell all of them and sign a bunch of players and expect them to perform. Do we have good individuals? Individuals better than teams above us? Yes. Does that give us the right to finish above them? No.

Football is about building a team with better individuals, on paper we have some players that should get in Cardiff's team, I bet Neil Warnock wouldn't take one of them right now.

Give Jose Mourinho a bunch of 20 random players with no thought behind them and he would struggle. Until we get some consistency, some sort of plan for a transfer window in place, a decent backroom team and a settled group of players we won't win promotion from this division.

We have another Mike Phelan scenario on our hands. This bloke is clueless. We have enough talent and experience in the squad to make a fist of it at this level but if this manager continues in this haphazard approach then he will take us down.
For me I'd demote Grosicki to the under 18's. The man is fraud and not a team player in any sense of the word.
As for a replacement ? The two lads at Lincoln seem to know there way around the English football league.
The longer Slutsky is here the deeper we will sink.
    I hope I am proved 100% wrong.

As nice a bloke as he is, he seems out of his depth to me. He clearly needs an assistant and some more coaching staff to help, but I have no idea what his philosophy on football is, what style of play we are attempting and why we start a home game with only one striker. The bullshit spouted by Ehab Allam about our 'Set style of play' is pathetic and it was obviously Allam who made the player signings and loans. The atmosphere at last nights game was terrible and there is no way the attendance was 15,000 it was closer to 10,000. I remember I used to look forward to every game but I now find myself dreading the next game. Match days, especially 3pm on Saturdays were always something to look forward to, even when we were in league 1 and 2, but nowadays I just see the whole experience as a chore. My family and friends all feel the same. The only thing which will change until we get rid of the cancer who are the Allam's will be the ever dwindling fan base, They are slowly sucking the life out of our club and believe me, we are going to be in a relegation battle again this season.
