I'm helping a mate to organise a ‘Burn The Sun newspaper’ event in the Queens Gardens bowl, ahead of the Liverpool match on Feb 4th, as a statement about truth and honesty, and about rejecting an establishment that uses lies to divide us, typified by this vile rag that calls itself a newspaper.
Two campaign groups from Liverpool are also involved – Justice For The 96, and Eclipse The Sun, so we should have a few Scousers in attendance and it represents a great opportunity to unite behind a common idea.
The event will probably start around Noon and finish about 1.45/2.00pm, so people can then go to the game. There will be various speakers, live music, and – obviously - the ceremonial burning of the rag itself, and it would be great if we can get good numbers along.
