'A rry doing the presser with Mick this morning. please log in to view this image “I thought we went about our business really well at Spurs. We had opportunities to score, but unfortunately we didn’t take them.” “The positive is that we are creating chances. We now just need to start taking them.” “Our heads won’t dip though. There’s no point sulking about things that have happened. We look forward to the next game.” “We are showing positive signs. I want my team to express themselves and take the game to West Ham tomorrow.” There are no fresh injury worries after Wednesday night's game. Mbokani is available again after suspension. Now Harry... “I’m looking forward to my first experience of going to West Ham’s new stadium.” “Hopefully it will be a positive experience and we can get the three points.” “We’re working hard on the training pitch. We take pride in keeping clean sheets and hopefully we can do that on Saturday.” “We need to put a run of wins and positive results together. We’ve definitely been more of an attacking threat of late.” “We need to start taking our chances, be more ruthless and keep goals out at the other end.”
Bit of a dilemma for MP, does he stay with Dio or go with Mbokani, as can't see him going with both as that mean Snodders wouldn't feature.
It would be unfair to drop Dio, although these things happen. Mbokani and Dio up top for me. Though as already noted this means there is a problem fitting in Snodgrass. So I dunno really. But I really would like to see Dio and Mbokani paired up.
sorry guys but in my opinion Dio was worse than useless against Spurs, it was like we had 10 men. didn't hold the ball up, movement was poor and a beat behind when needed to be sharp, poor decision making too. Mbokani back in for me. Btw I have it on good authority that the 'm' is silent thus Bokani is the way to say it
I thought Dio was alright, he seems to be coming on as a player. Think him and mbob would work well as a pair. Clucas has been decidedly average, I'd be tempted to drop him to the bench and try Snodgers a little deeper. Or drop tom for Meyler or Mason and keep Snodgers playing behind the front two.
Snodgrass doesn't really fit in with a 3-5-2. So if we have 2 fit strikers MP has a decision to make.
I would start both Mbokani and Dio with Snods behind them and drop Hudd. maybe unfair on Hudd but it will give him a rest after 2 quick games
not really connected. best players in their best positions & that is about different opinions. As it happens, in the long run I would say Marshall will prove better for the team, others will feel differently. no bearing on Dio v Mbokani
I don't think it matters who we play, we are not going to get a result. We have been better going forward the last two games but we just can't defend as a team. We can't stop crosses coming in (wingbacks/fullbacks) and personally I think it is leaving Maguire, Dawson, Davies with too much to do (or they are getting worse).
Catching the train today! Now do I need my stab vest or have they calmed down now with their recent win?
I'd like Gary Rowett to be making the first team selection. Either that or the tea lady, can't do any worse.
this is a must win game otherwise were gonna get cut adrift............. IF westam get anything, thats a bigger gap to overtake them. we need our best players on the pitch, Mbokani is one of them. IF MP wants to punish him, he can fine him... but to punish us fans for his indiscretion is a ****ty idea.
