    Where will we finish?

It's not the same club that finished 7th though. A new manager claiming to be playing a different style, a plethora of important first teamers gone and a big influx of unproven/unknown replacements. We might as well have just entered the division for all the comparisons with last season are...

    Where will we finish?

I'd have taken 21st at the start of the season and now I'd snap your hand off. The games we play poorly in we'll lose and the games we play alright in we'll draw or lose as we'll nearly always concede one and won't score enough goals to dig us out of the holes we find ourselves in.

Imagine how bad it'd be if they started selling beer at halftime...

    New kit…

It's an excellent shirt. As Les says, It's as Hull City as it's possible to look. Modern and traditional at the same time. It reminds me of the '08/'09 shirt and so I put it along side that as the best shirt City have had in the 23 years I've been going.

    New kit…

That was the the last full season at Boothferry Park wasn't it? Then we kept it for the half Boothferry, half KC season and the Div 3 promotion season. Can't see us ever wearing the same home shirt in three different seasons ever again.

It looks like their heads and shoulders have been badly photoshopped on.

Off Topic Hull City Centre Public Realm Strategy

I remember going in the toilet and the walls being covered in pretty extreme racist graffiti. Sadly this stuff happens I suppose. Except I then went in again over a year later and the same graffiti was still there. Not exactly a great look for a prominently placed Old town bar. Town was better...

    New England kit

It's just push back from people feeling they're being told what to think and find acceptable. People (obviously not everyone) are usually pretty ok with others doing and thinking whatever they want, even if they don't particularly get or like it. The problems start when people feel they're being...

Match Day Thread Hull City v Stoke

I know they're probably supposed to add emphasis to text, but I always find it detracts from the message. Like it's dumbed down. Y'know, for nitwits. I recognise I'm in the minority though.

    Wonder who will be going…

I hope it's me. I only started going to football in the hope the owner of the club would take me on holiday.

Match Day Thread Huddersfield v Hull City

That was the 'Bubble' game wasn't it? We'd have sold it out that season, but only had a handful there because of a boycott. It was a televised, teatime game though so we went to Huddersfield anyway and had a day there in various pubs. Really good day out in the end, but typical we won when we...

    Women's World Cup

Men’s football has taken 150 years to get to where it is now and it had to start from scratch. Creating their own clubs, building their own grounds, building a supporter base over generation after generation. It was obviously a horribly cynical thing to do to ban women playing in the early 20th...

Match Day Thread Norwich v Hull City

So it wasn’t offside. Nothing to do with it hitting a City player, he just wasn’t offside when the ball came in.

    Women's World Cup

It was a strange situation that highlighted a flaw in the law. Originally she was obviously a mile offside, but by the time of the second phase she was a mile onside. Now I know the defender has to ‘deliberately’ play the ball for it to count, but she literally jumped up and challenged for it...

Match Day Thread Grimsby v Hull City

It was quite comical really. It just needed circus music to accompany the police’s panicked response. Running around like headless chickens, helmets falling off and nearly running each other over in their vans.
