Liverpool will not rival Manchester United for Southampton centre-back Virgil van Dijk in the January transfer window, according to reports. The Daily Mail claims that the Netherlands international has a £25 million release clause but Jurgen Klopp’s side will not pursue a deal as they want to strengthen other areas in the upcoming window. Manchester City and Everton are also keen on the 25-year-old, who was signed from Celtic last year for £13 million. According to Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf, Liverpool and City have sent a scout to watch Van Dijk in every game for the past two months.
utter rot 1. anyone who thinks southampton put a clause like that in any contract (never having done so before) is nuts 2. its a scattergun story naming half the prem as suitors 3. it claims some insider knowledge of lfc targets for january. the nice this about it is the skill in which it sprays wildly names out while actually saying nothing is happening and then the guy can claim after he knoew it cos frankly nobody is getting van dijk for less than 40mil and i doubt it will be until summer. there is a skill in being a lying toerag hack.
Don't journos work have to be approved by the editor prior to publication? If that's true, more should be made about editors who make honest journos have to edit their work to suit.
Editors demand the lies! theres no such thing as an honest sports journo or editor.. not any more. facts are boring. gossip is cool.
has he moved from the honeymoon to the desperate to get out phase? in which case have you met up with him and got some ****ing rumours to pass to us.
My uncle has been happily married to his (either 5th or 6th I don't remember which) wife for 30+ years now. Sometimes it takes a few tries before you find someone who accepts you despite your womanising.
translation..... Quincy Promes is the guy Or is virgil an dijk on or off. I heard van dijk was a bit of a lad in holland and we might not be bothered.
