Flip it around: If I had joined Bournemouth at age 14 (or whatever it was), and spent my next ten years there, I'd still be calling myself a Southampton boy. Oh, I thought it well known that Lallana was from Bournemouth? It's why he took Henderson out for the night out recently down there whilst on England duty, as he knew the area and was joined by his friends who live in the area. Similarly, as far as I am aware, his wife is also from the area and they got married down there.
He isn't even from Bournemouth. Moved there as a kid and was with saints from the age of 10. He obviously loved saints at one point hence the badge kissing and things he said etc. So why do all that and then say you're Bournemouth through and through. As a kid he supported everton not Bournemouth so it isn't who he supports either. Just wants to piss saints fans off and disassociate himself with the club.
Bewildering isn't it? At least with Brighton, Gus Poyet's anti-charisma almost gave us a reason to hate them back. But I have seriously never met a Saints fan who dislikes Bournemouth.
