Go onnn RUUBBBYYYYYYY, told you he'd battle. What a ****ing tough boy he is, eye ball him, you may as well go home!!! Race of the season so far, spectacle wise. I'm trembling here ffs!!!
Look where the Tom George handicapper finished. Mediocre race, poor jumping and great spectacle. Douvan would hack up on that run.
Oh I'm not disagreeing, class wise it wasn't vintage but the race was an absolute joy to watch, you don't see many pick up again the way Un De SCEAUX did after that error two out. Just made up for the horse, seems everyone was out to get him today but he proved them wrong, and on ground he'd a been feeling more than most. Think you're harsh on Gods Own, beat Simonsig and Vautour remember, he's no handicapper. Just enjoy it for the cracking spectacle it was.
MY dogs take exception to that - they can run and jump much better! Was there any news about Bertimont? C4 said they'd keep viewers informed but I didn't hear it ..... Ok Conas Taio next
The race did nothing for me Beefy. Then again the few pints of Genius and hot whiskey could be dimming my view. Anyway, well done those who profited and well done the animals most of all. Did I mention I took a headbutt off one of the horses in the yard midweek. Jaw, mouth, nose, sore. Enough said. Never cuddle a horse who is trying to order his grub
Yeah, but there weren't many other horses who would have made it a better race. Douvan aside, it's a very poor division this year.
Going to a have a speculative punt on Theo 'I need ten chances to put one away' Walcott to score first against the Hammers 7/1 Skybet
Sorry I was talking about Sir Valentino not Gods Own. GO lost a lot of momentum at the second and was very unlucky in my book. It was a great spectacle but all bar SDG made mistakes and the old boy isn't the force he was. UDS did prove his fight, but all it said to me was that Fox Norton is Douvan's nearest danger... and that says it all.
