I hope The Last Samuri runs a great race, even with the massive weight. Nothing like a top weight who can put himself in the picture.

Nice performance from Altior and didn't he storm up the hill? More novicey today than at Kempton at a couple of fences but that was a proper race and he has bolted up.

ALTIOR looking very natural over his fences isn't he? Such a change from Josses Hill and L'ami Serge for Mr Henderson. Will take a good one to beat him in the Arkle.

Absolutely love UN DE SCEAUX and tucked into the 2s on offer this morning as well as Betfred's naughty looking 5/2 they pushed him out to. Simply the best horse in the race, and he must be doing something right at home to get the nod to run here from the great man. And I'll tell you something, if it's a battle up the hill this little warrior relishes a battle, he won't give in when he's eyeballed. Only beaten last season by one of the best two milers we've seen, he's going to take some stopping today.

Still think Altior 6/4 for the Arkle is very short Beefy - Min did nothing wrong on debut and it is still only early December.

Wouldn't take 6/4 on anything antepost in a single Oddy, but he's definitely ticking plenty of boxes for him to be a shortie. Mind you, I still cling to my 8/1 Min docket with hope! Both look very fluent jumpers <ok>

Ground looks soft enough i think for UDS. The main question is how does Ar Mad step up into open company. I think he will need the run and reckon the price on UDS looks good.

What a race - Ar Mad went off like a complete nutter but stuck on well for 4th. Great battle with the front 2, UDS just pulling it out. Brilliant stuff.

Ar Mad the one to take out of it IMHO - settles better and jumps he beats these. Still a young, unexposed horse.
